I don't know if anyone's asked this before, but I'm curious. What are the gods like where you're from? Or other supernatural stuff? How normal are they?

I come from a place where it isn't weird to meet a small god at least once, and no one says things like ghosts and demons and spirits aren't real because they very observably are. But I've heard that's not necessarily true in other worlds, and there are plenty of people who'd count as supernatural here too.

You can also just share your favourite legends or myths from back home. Those are always neat to hear.

There are many things out there that can and will kill you, for starters. A lot of war, too.

He's slightly taller than me. [ This does not actually answer whether Nico can be considered small. ] And in any case, size doesn't really have anything to do with his cuteness.

To answer your other question, there are a bunch of reasons and probably more that I don't know well enough to be able to say. I guess you could boil it down to greed and ambition because a lot of times war breaks out over territory, resources and politics.

Resources and territory seem to be the most common motive in starting wars. I am glad that we do not have to experience that here in Ellipsa. I am glad you are here and not there, Lark.

Thanks. There isn't really a war where I live back home specifically, but there used to be. [ (He will not consider gang warfare a war unless it got real bad.) ] I still miss home sometimes, though.

[ Look. It's just a fact of life in Wu-Jian that on any given day there's probably a fight and property damage happening.

That said...he's never really thought about this, mostly because it involves broaching the idea that they're both from different worlds and might have to go back someday, and then what? Besides, as much as Wu-Jian is home to him, it's also, as he had said, not a nice place. It's not the kind of place he'd want people to visit lightly.

But, well. At least in this conversation, it's okay to have a little wishful thinking. ]

It'd be nice for him to meet my sisters at least once, yeah.
