I wasn't sure if I wanted to write this post or not, but at the end of the day, I wound up posting anonymously.

So, long story short: I want a girlfriend.

I keep winding up with male partners that I want to have a female partner for once in my life but then I realize my issue here: I don't have any female friends in this world.

TL;DR? Please send help and advice.

Oh, it's RARE rare. That's rough, sorry to hear that. Maybe you should try to get other people into it?

It is.

It also isn't exactly a common "girl" hobby, so the people I tend to meet that have it or are even remotely interested in it tend to be... guys, from experience, so it's rough. It's hard to get people into it in general though because it's a lot of learning.

I wonder if there's more guy or girl otherworlders here, or if anyone has actual statistics on that. I think my partners have been pretty evenly split, personally?

Does Ellipsa do censuses? Though I guess with how quickly people come and go, the demographics might change pretty frequently...

I keep wanting to nerd over demographics but nobody has any accurate numbers, it's frustrating. And if I did a survey, only like a percentage of the people would actually answer it.
