The ritual that calls people to this place is unconnected to time. It can summon people thousands of years apart within the same day, or even from an entirely separate part of the Kaleidoscope. That is to say, alternate timelines. It does tend to stick with what it knows when it can, though, so I thought the chances of you being the same Aqua I met were high enough to ask.
