Ah, sorry...! Yes, well... what is this darkness? It seems familiar and yet...

From what little I know, it's like some sort of like, force? Kind of like magic, but a bit different.

[ She shakes her head. ]

Sorry... I don't know how to describe it very well since I haven't personally researched much about it, or experienced the darkness for myself.

What was the Darkness you experienced like?

It’s… rage and anger. Emptiness. An all-consuming force.

[starwill]

[ Stelle's voice is quiet as she hears those words. It's a lot to think about, at least - perhaps the Darkness here might be different, but... there might be similarities, too. She isn't sure. ]

That sounds awful to deal with.

It is, honestly. So many lost to it...

I'm sorry. But we won't let that happen here.

[ Stelle nods in what seems to be clear determination, nodding. ]

But in any case! For now... instead of thinking about that, how about we go and get something to eat? It'll be my treat.

[hope_in_darkness]

That’s kind of you. Yes, please - I am getting hungry.

[starwill]

It's no problem at all. [ She throws a thumbs up. ] Are you picky at all? Or is there anything specific you'd like to eat?

[hope_in_darkness]

I’m not honestly picky, really. I could eat anywhere at the moment.

[starwill]

In that case... I'll lead the way. Keep close. The city's pretty big and you don't want to get lost in a crowd. The cafe's not too far, though.

[ She says casually as she adjusts herself before starting to walk in a direction. ]

Alright, right behind you.

[And once Stelle’s on her way, Aqua is close behind, making sure to keep up with her.]

[ Stelle is taking things at a rather brisk pace, humming a song to herself before they eventually arrive; it's a rather small, cozy place in a corner of the street. ]

Aaaand~! Here we are! It's not a big place, but I like it, anyway. It's cheap, too. Anyway, feel free to go on in first.

Feel free to sit wherever you want. This place mostly has coffees, teas and pastries, but they do have some small breakfast items, too.

I'll get the best slice there is! Alright, just wait in your seat and I'll head to the counter to buy and get everything.

[Such a kind girl. Aqua smiled at Stelle and nodded before she made her way to the table, sitting down and looking out the window while she waited.

Maybe it won’t be so bad after all…]

[starwill]

[ Stelle goes ahead and orders both of their items, with Stelle herself getting a glass of orange juice and a chocolate croissant. All of it is placed on a tray that she carries with ease without dropping a single item before placing it on the table. ]

Alright, here you go...! They said that the cake's fresh, too.

[hope_in_darkness]

[And as Aqua gets her stuff, she takes a fork and takes a bite of the cake, blinking in surprise.]

Wow… they’re right. It is fresh! I think we got here just in time!

[starwill]

Don't worry about it.

[ She says as she grabs her croissant and takes a bite into it, trying to not make a mess with the crumbs. ]

Looks like we lucked out. It's always good to eat this kind of thing fresh.

[She took her cup and took a sip of her coffee.]
