My world sucks and I don't want to go back to it! Like 'murder is legal sometimes' levels of bad. Compared to home, Ellipsa is a paradise.

But my parents are still there, and I wouldn't feel right abandoning them to live in paradise by myself.

Yeah! Supposedly they're working on a way to bring people here intentionally, but who knows when that's going to materialize. I know my parents would love it here if they had the chance, though.

I don't remember much of it. It was a warzone when I left. But the planet I was on before I awoke here... it was much nicer.

A year and a half or so? I was one of the earliest arrivals, so I'm probably as well equipped to answer questions as anybody.

Is there anything you think that would be important for a new arrival to know?

Good question! The most important thing is that they are absolutely serious about that 'you have to physically touch people on a regular basis' thing. It's not that hard to satisfy that requirement, but you will turn into a statue if you don't.

It's called "The Planet of Festivities". From the hotel that takes up the entire space station, you can dive into a dream shared by countless inhabitants and visitors. It's all divided into different sections, with different themes to do and see in each one.

It's like... a thriving city that's always in the midst of turn of the year celebrations mixed with an amusement park. Countless performances across all corners of the dreamscape, food more delicious than anything you could find in reality... and you're not restrained by anything that might be weighing you down in the real world.

[She won't go into the ugly side of it all, that she's seen so recently. She's not blind to the corruption and how badly things festered in that world, but... she still holds a lot of fond memories of it.]

So regular touch or you turn into a statue. And their purpose for bringing others here is for some situation that they cannot resolve on their own.

It sounds like an ideal place, certainly. It sounds like you have a lot of fond memories of it.
