[Well, this is a new username! Meaning this is clearly a new person. His text comes off as mostly curious. Inquisitive as he might be, he hoped this won’t come across as intrusive. ]

Hello there, as I have come to understand…this place is comprised of many people from many worlds.

Call it being curious, but won’t some of you tell me about your home worlds? Do you wish to return to them? It’s quite alright if you don’t wish to answer, call this satisfying my own curiosity.

A year and a half or so? I was one of the earliest arrivals, so I'm probably as well equipped to answer questions as anybody.

The easiest way I can think to ask what I need to ask is, hm…

Is there anything you think that would be important for a new arrival to know?

Good question! The most important thing is that they are absolutely serious about that 'you have to physically touch people on a regular basis' thing. It's not that hard to satisfy that requirement, but you will turn into a statue if you don't.

So regular touch or you turn into a statue. And their purpose for bringing others here is for some situation that they cannot resolve on their own.

To save their world from the Darkness. I sometimes forget because here is so much nicer than home already.

I like spending time in Amberfall's library! I've never seen that many books in one place anywhere else, you could literally get lost in there.

Maybe! What kinds of books are your favorites?

Such a hard question, actually. I like history books, but I’m fond of old tales and fantasy on occasion.

What about yourself?

I'm a sucker for monster romance - pun absolutely intended - but I'll read pretty much anything. Mysteries, comedies, nonfiction books about science...

Monster romance? I am not entirely familiar with that subject.

Often called paranormal romance! Similar to other romance books except the love interest is some kind of separate, supernatural species different from the main character. The genre ranges from the pretty tame - vampires, werewolves, the classics - to the really eldritch and wild.

Oh! That sounds quite interesting. I’m assuming it might not be for everyone, but I will read anything once.

It's definitely not to everyone's tastes, but I have some recommendations if you want to try one!

In that case, I recommend Love Under the Moon's Light. The main couple's relationship develops in a really compelling way and all of the characters are super likable.
