To everyone who picked their own birthday: how did you pick it and what all did you think of?

Mecchan wants his own birthday. I know when Hina-chan's is because she hatched here in Ellipsa, but I don't know when Mecchan was born, and since Mary-chan just had a birthday a couple weeks ago, I think he wants his own.

I chose Obon for my birthday, because I'm forgetful and 'twas a date I could remember.

Oh, that makes sense! And it's like still having a way to celebrate a holiday from home that we don't have here! Like if I missed Feria Oramena from when I was in Madagascar so I had lobster on my birthday. Right?

That seems reasonable enough. What is Feria Oramena? I'm not familiar.

It's a seafood festival in June they hold at on Madagascar! When I lived on Tiotio Island, we went to the festival sometimes with some of the other villagers. They have shows and exhibitions and stuff, it's really fun!

That sounds delightful! I do love seafood, I would love to attend one day.

Maybe someday we can all go to Earth and visit! It'll be fun! I bet you'd love the village, and the monkeys are nice except they like to steal people's food when they leave it out. I forget if you speak monkey, but I can talk to them for you if you don't.

I don't, I'm afraid. You can speak monkey?

Yeah! I learned on the island. The monkeys were my friends! I didn't have any other kids my age growing up, so I went out and made friends with nature.

That's an incredible skill. I don't think even Tabasa could speak with monkeys, and he took care of a few in the village.

Wow, really? You had monkeys? What other animals were there?

Sheep, horses, cows... A fair variety, considering how small the village was.

That makes sense, pretty much everywhere has farms and stuff in real life. Not like games where a lot of them just forget about farms and then you wonder where the people get their food.

I don't know if I would call it a farm proper... Aren't those rather large?

Usually, yeah. But I dunno, maybe there are little ones.

That's a good idea! I'll ask him! Maybe it should be a time when not a lot of festivals and parties are happening, too, so he won't get scared...

I agree. Besides, we need to celebrate him without confusing his birthday with a holiday or festival.

Yeah! I mean, my birthday's the same as Usagi-chan's and even that gets a little complicated trying to figure out who celebrates when.

Neither of you will be forgotten. I have more berries for Hina and cookies for Mecchan before I forget!

Really? That sounds great! I bet they'd really wanna see you, they get along with you pretty well.

I am fond of them, I admit. Little Hina has the cutest face and I love Mecchan's shy personality. They are kind like you.

You think so? I think they're great too! Do you want us to come over then? I bet they'd have a lot of fun.

Wow, really? A pool? That sounds great! I bet you don't have to worry about transformation then either!
