I'm sorry to announce this but...Nen, Kenta, and Kagami have all gone home. [ He sounds a little sullen and sad. The house is so empty now so what the heck is he supposed to do with all this space?! ]

I never really noticed how big the house was until now. [ A sigh. ] But that's all I wanted to say. I apologize that it's not. It's not happy news but I think everyone has the right to know, especially those close to them.

[It was fairly straightforward, Oryou understands the post, but-]

They're not allowed to leave. Oryou doesn't want them to leave.

[ Especially since back home wasn't exactly the greatest for Nen. ] There's no way to know when it'll happen. Still, it hurts regardless.

Of course you can...the house is a little bit too quiet so having some extra company will be nice.

[ He will put on some water for tea while he's at it. ]

[ The door is answered with a rather dour-looking Shigeru present. He gives Oryou a small smile before moving to the side to let her in. ]

Please come in. I made us some tea. I don't know if that's what you like, I can make something else if that's the case.

[Oryou floats in, looking much moodier than her usual.]

A hug... [ Shigeru isn't the greatest at physical displays of affection but he is going to do his best!! He'll move closer in before wrapping his arms around Oryou and holding her close, the warmth of that physical touch spreading throughout him. He's been...forgetting that he needs to do that?? So, yeah, it's probably a good thing that he did this. ]

How-How was that? F-Feel a bit better, I hope?

[Oryou hugs him back, gently, mindful of her strength. She presses her forehead against his shoulder.]

It's really sad knowing how many people are gone, isn't it...

Mm it is. It never gets easier when people leave, but sometimes you just don't expect those who are closest to you to disappear like that.

I bet everybody here misses them. It's kind of sad not having Kagami-san running the place next door to the bar anymore.

Yes it's a bit of an adjustment for everyone, isn't it? But I...want to think and-and hope that they'll be alright back home. Even if I know that-that's not the case.

Yeah... I know some people are working hard to find ways to take people on purpose, or find them in their worlds once all this is over and save them. But I don't know anything about that.

I'm not sure about it either, being possible or anything like that, but I'd like to think that it is. Gives people some hope that they'll see other again, right?

[ And, well, Shigeru is technically a god now so it's not really outside the realm of possibility for him to do something like interstellar travel. ]

Yeah... And there are already people who can normally cross worlds! They just can't right now because the spell wants to keep us here! So it's okay!

I just...don't want to be too late for-for them. Their world was...is a bit of a mess? I-I couldn't bear it if I or-or even someone else didn't get there in time for them.

[ Hypothetical, really, but this place has weird time shenanigans. So maybe if he ever ends up free from here he could make it in time. ]

Oh... Yeah. I know how that feels too. Davis-san saved Neechan and her parents, it was one of those deal things of his, but there's so many other people from bad places...

It's a great loss. Nenonen and Kenta were both very good people and I enjoyed having them at Moondrop and as friends.
