[There's a bit of jostling as the video feed comes into view, and there's the voice of a girl talking as it points at the sky - obviously somewhere near the city. Finally, Eggman seems to respond:]

Honestly, I'd prefer getting a look around myself before engaging with the others, but if you insist, Sage...

[Finally, the camera shifts down to Eggman - and most notably his fantastic mustache. He seems to shuffle in a seat clearly visible behind him, and those who know Eggman would probably be able to guess he's in the Egg Mobile.]

Er-hem-em--

[He clears his throat.]

Citizens of Ellipsa! I am Dr. Eggman, future conqueror of the world! ... Er, universe! ... Well, when we get out of here, I suppose. [There's a small pause, before he clears his throat again.] Anyway! I'm looking for a proper place to build a base of operations - these apartments are too small to hold all the tools necessary for a proper genius to do his work! [There's another whisper offscreen.] And, well, my daughter wants to introduce herself as well. Go on, Sage.

[He would shift the camera over to Sage (in her top-level) so she could do hers.]

[OOC: This is a joint IC introduction for both Eggman and Sage. Sage will be making a top-level and anyone who wishes to meet her can do so in her top-level. They may interject into each other's threads if the need arises.]

Rrrrgh. Of course. I'll be surprised if he isn't here within the next minute after that broadcast. We don't have a lot here with us, but be ready just in case.

I have already begun making improvements to the Eggmobile's operating system. Operational performance has increased by 2.7 %.

Good work, daughter. We'll find a place to build a base of operations and be back in working order in no time. I'll rebuild the EggNet and we'll have the Eggman Empire up and running in no time!

[A beat.]

... If only I had a place to actually utilize them for, aside from that pesky rodent and his friends.

Father, I have a proposal. What if we employed the Empire in the service of defending and serving Ellipsa? It would not only ingratiate you to the people here, it would undoubtedly frustrate the hedgehog and his friends.

Hrmmmm.... [He pinches a bit of his mustache in thought.] Highly irregular, even for me. But if it will frustrate Sonic, I see no reason not to give it a try. It's not like I can conquer Ellipsa - they're already in trouble, and there's no fun in conquering that. So by helping them, I can in turn later conquer it!

... But fixing Ellipsa will return us home, and not allow me to conquer it. Hrmm. Well, for now, we will go with that idea.

It depends father. It seems that there are always new problems arising. Even with your magnanimous efforts, it seems we would always have work to do.
