Hello! Some of you might remember me, but in case you don't - my name is Ren Jinguji. I returned during New Years and I'm resuming my work as an idol!

But that's not why I'm making this post, really. I want to propose a game! Something so we can get to know each other better.

This is, two truths, one lie. Write three things about yourself, one of which is a lie. Others will have to guess which one it is. Of course, you can also reply as a video or a voice message, if that's easier.

I kind of want to say three is the lie because that would be the most absurd thing for your world to do. I wouldn't be surprised if I found a convenience store that sells guns back home, I know you can get them from Walmart.

You're right! Guns are actually strictly regulated in the City. The Head says that they make killing too impersonal.

That is a fair and reasonable thing to do
So do people like lose their memories in the vending machine, or do they get to give the vending machine their memories over and over again?

The majority of the memories for sale are harvested from people who have already died. I'm not actually sure how it works with someone surviving?

It is 3, but not for that reason! Guns are actually really heavily regulated and taxed to the point that it's usually not worth using them.

Well, the government's reasoning is that killing people with guns is too impersonal.

Pretty much like any other prosthetic? Making a mechanical brain is the finicky part that makes prosthetic heads expensive.

I guess if the mechanical brain replicated a human one closely enough, you could connect and transfer your consciousness.

There aren't any people who aren't human out and about in the City, but the definition of 'human' includes some people that you'd probably think look pretty wild.

A prosthetic is an artificial limb. Like if you lost your leg in an accident and you need something to replace it.

I'm not sure what artificial means but if you swapped your head for a different head wouldn't that just mean the different head now has a new body and your old head doesn't any more?

Artificial means that someone made it, like out of wood or metal. So it wouldn't be anyone else's head you were using, it would be a brand new head just made.

Sure could! Could be made out of lots of things.
