Hello! Some of you might remember me, but in case you don't - my name is Ren Jinguji. I returned during New Years and I'm resuming my work as an idol!

[With rewnewed energy, as one might notice from his annoyingly sparkling smile.]

But that's not why I'm making this post, really. I want to propose a game! Something so we can get to know each other better.

This is, two truths, one lie. Write three things about yourself, one of which is a lie. Others will have to guess which one it is. Of course, you can also reply as a video or a voice message, if that's easier.

Are you even old enough to be in a bar at night? Or were they fighting in the daytime when they let kids in to eat?

Do bars let kids eat in them during the day?
I've never tried during the day.

Sometimes! They still can't have alcohol or anything. Maybe it depends on the place, too.

I wouldn't want alcohol anyway, smells weird.
But no, I was in two bars, at night, and a fight happened both times.
For reasons far beyond my control
But I won both
The second one was a dance battle

It was super fun!
The first one especially, some guys didn't like hipsters and thought we were hipsters which i don't get because Tom has full on dad energy and if he doesn't have that he has small town sheriff energy, but like competent and cool one, not the doofy ones or the jerk ones, so like there is no real hipster energy and I was in disguise so I guess I could have come across a hipster though I don't really know how
Maybe it was the whole tourist vibe because I was getting a bunch of new experiences and it was great
anyway I pretty much tore through the bar and Tom only got hit a few times and I got to eat my first chili dog
it was great
the second time was a little dicey at first because we were in siberia and Tails and I had no idea what anyone was saying
and we might have offended them I think?
Anyway then they tore off our clothes and found out we were aliens and they were going to throw us into a fire
but then Tails challenged them to pivonka and it wasn't going great at first
but Tails was looking so nervous and I couldn't let my new buddy suffer like that so changed some tunes so we could get out flow
and then we killed it!
and then the guys were a lot nicer to us and no one got thrown into a fire

But yeah
I get into a lot of situations
though the most dire ones usually aren't my fault
just kinda happen

That sounds like fun! Except the almost dying. And the other getting beaten up stuff. I guess we all get into situations here too, anyway, so it's fair.

I really could take out the almost dying, but that seems to happen a lot to when I leave Green Hills.

The fact I've been here for weeks without a single threat to my life is actually a pretty nice change of pace!

Even when we fought the rock candy guy? Or I guess monsters who don't know any better are different from someone actually trying to kill you because they planned it, no matter what species they are.

I HOPE it's 1 and you're not going to bars, you are absolutely too young to be drinking.

I'm not going in them to drink, its more for the ambience the first time.
It was a biker bar and it was the COOLEST place ever.
Its where I had my first chili dog.
Also Tom was with me and he's a sheriff, he made sure I was only drinking mello yellow.
Anyway, they really hated hipsters that they thought we were for some reason.
I didn't see it.
The second time, Tails and I were actually in the middle of Siberia and were kind of freezing and it was either go there or having to leave in the middle of a treasure hunt.
It was a good place to regroup after we won the dance battle.
Less so before hand since they thought about throwing us into a fire.
But that is the power of dance!

Thank goodness. I'm really bad at being the responsible adult about stuff like that.

Is it 2 and you've actually stopped, like, three bank robberies?

Honestly I don't get the appeal of alcohol.
It always smells weird.
Makes my nose tingle.

Actually, only one. I did also stop an armored car robbery, but they were never in the bank, so that's no longer a bank robbery.

I kind of only hit cities at night and there's not a ton of bank robberies then, so the one I actually did was only because it was on the news.

Alcohol is either for people who want to act stupid but need an excuse for it or for people who want to stop feeling things. You don't need it.

Makes sense! Not a lot of bank robberies in a quiet neighborhood.

There really isn't!
The only reason the one happened was because of Robotnik's tech, I think.
The robots showed up anyway, dunno what was in it
What mattered is the people were all right in the end

Yeah, does seem kind of just bad decisions waiting to happen
Already do that plenty
Or running from feelings, I guess
But that seems like just kicking the can down the road

He did kind of trauma dump on me recently
He didn't have any family and thought he had no romantic prospects which was funny because it was pretty clear Stone has it bad for him
But I'm guessing part of it was a lot of no family, no friends, no significant other except the one guy he didn't realize was his friend before he blew up
Anyway, he wanted to dissect the strange alien to figure out how I worked
And then I beat him
So he just wanted to kill me for humiliating him and trapping him on the mushroom planet for a while, but he HAD been trying to kill me so like I don't know what he expected
Anyway, lack of therapy.
Serious, serious therapy.

Multiple bar fights and Tokyo-based motorcycle chases are more typical than bank heists in my experience.

My version of Tokyo's probably different from the one you visited. We've had some robot and AI nonsense, phantom thieves, tons of plots and conspiracies and too many murder mysteries...
Vehicular chases happen a lot. Cars, motorcycles, this one child detective who goes rocketing around on the most INCREDIBLE skateboard, etc.
No aliens so far though 🤔

But!
You totally should visit your Tokyo again if you can! There's tons to explore and experience.

Stopping an armored vehicle is super impressive, wow!

idk most of that sounds like my experiences in tokyo
Except for the murder mysteries and phantom thieves
There was thievery
looooots of thievery
They just weren't somehow ghosts?
though the thief was like over a hundred
so maybe ghostish
No idea how that worked actually i should find out
Maybe they were better at hiding than me
Blue hedgehog is not great at subtlety without pretending to be a mascot

I only got to stay there for like

Before we had to run off
And Tails really wanted to experience the Chao Garden and that was only like fifteen
He deserves a longer trip

I do it more than normal people?
But Tom and Maddie do want me to focus more on being a kid
So they're never a fan if I go out and do a bunch of hero work ALL the time
Though I still try at least once a month if not once a week
You know, gotta get the practice in!
But people only sometimes have heists going on so its usually terorrizing drug dealers and muggers

There's less terror for the desperate ones

I just thought of doing things two times twice so I made it the whole theme
Plus doing something more thrilling twice makes it seem less likely to have happened
