Hello! Some of you might remember me, but in case you don't - my name is Ren Jinguji. I returned during New Years and I'm resuming my work as an idol!

[With rewnewed energy, as one might notice from his annoyingly sparkling smile.]

But that's not why I'm making this post, really. I want to propose a game! Something so we can get to know each other better.

This is, two truths, one lie. Write three things about yourself, one of which is a lie. Others will have to guess which one it is. Of course, you can also reply as a video or a voice message, if that's easier.

Simple, right? Let's have fun.

The opportunity to learn new magics might be the only thing I appreciate about this world, but I suppose it's good to have other hobbies.

Was your mother's actual name Minerva?

The magic of this place has its uses. Another tool, I suppose. One shouldn't turn down additional tools to progress their work.

I'd argue having other hobbies allows you to find new methods in your primary focus. When I paint or use chalks, I return to my research more focused.

While you've figured out the lie, that's a far cry from my mother figure's name, but it's really all that important what her name is. Alice; however, is akin to an aunt. She has taken great care of me.

They're actually going to compensate us for using the magic here to help them, at least. Better than my last gig, by far.

You paint? Watercolor or oils?

[ Ha, that's a cute answer. ]

Kept you out of trouble?

They do. It's pretty straightforward work, too. If you have any questions on it, I would be glad to answer what I can. I've been here for some time now - two years.

I have and can use both, but I prefer oils. They take time to dry, so you can make changes to it until it's exactly as you want.

I would have had to be trouble in the first place. She enabled my work as an alchemist at home. Without her, I could not have gotten here.

Feel free to tell me to mind my own business, but have you died here?

I'd like to see your work sometime. I didn't get nearly enough of a chance to visit the fine arts museums back in SF.

Was only a joke, I promise. It's nice that there are so many people here who used magic at home, as well.

I haven't. But dying here seems to be of minimal consequence. Certainly enables risk-taking.

I guarantee you will. If you see someone painting at the gardens ever, feel free to say hello. It's most likely me.

[ Which isn't a courtesy he gives a lot of people. ]

Ah, yeah. Well, there's many people from my world here. And many of them are like myself in that area.

It does still hurt, though, doesn't it? Where I come from it hurts a great deal.

I will. Do you sell your work, or do you only do it for love?

How interesting. And in those two years, did you ever return home? Or want to?

I'd assume it would hurt as much as dying any other time would. But if you get a quick death, then I imagine it's over in an instant.

Are you itching to die or something?

[ tempted to try and see what it feels like now... ]

I do it for the love of it while here. Not to say that I've never sold it. But I'm an alchemist as my job.

No returns home. Eventually I'll be back there. Many people have returned home, and sometime it will be me. Sometime it may be you. That's how it works.

Death happens to me more often than you think. I'm not exactly robust at the best of times. I just believe in knowing as much as I can, eases the sting.
