Tell me, Ellipsa - what kind of life did you envision for yourself? What was your dream life? If it's a bit unrealistic, that's alright - we all have those kinds of ideas. Nothing wrong with dipping a bit outside of the normal realm. Feel free to suspend your disbelief a little, in the name of making yourself happy.
Oh, and it doesn't matter whether that life is at home, here, or in someone else's home world.

Dream life... I guess the ideal would be if my parents got to come here to Ellipsa and we were all able to stay here without worrying about being sent back to our world? This place is kind of already beyond anything I could have dreamed of at home.

That's a good question, though. You already know I'm living the dream as an officer, but I don't think I was ever against working on the farm, either.
