[The feed opens on Nick reclined on an outdoor chaise lounge chair, somewhere in Solarpeak. Casual outfit, sunglasses, the whole nine yards. It's clear he definitely had planned that.

He raises a hand in greeting toward the camera, before talking - still looking out towards the beach.]

Tell me, Ellipsa - what kind of life did you envision for yourself? What was your dream life? If it's a bit unrealistic, that's alright - we all have those kinds of ideas. Nothing wrong with dipping a bit outside of the normal realm. Feel free to suspend your disbelief a little, in the name of making yourself happy.

Oh, and it doesn't matter whether that life is at home, here, or in someone else's home world.

[Technically, this is also the first time he's actually addressed the network - he's already found Judy, and maybe one or two others so some small handwaving is totally fine, but the larger network has never seen him before now, despite him being in Ellipsa for a month.]
