Hey, everyone. Uh, so...
[Have a bunny, Ellipsa. She's dressed in what appears to be an officer's uniform, but clearly for Nightwake City and not Zootopia. She's actually off-duty, so don't worry about her doing this on taxpayer hours.]
This is a really awkward question and I sincerely hope I don't offend, but it's honestly been on my mind since I got here.
Is there a reason why the majority of people who arrive are uh... the same or similar species? Human, I think was the name? I don't see very many, uh, creatures... animals(?) here. Like myself.
[Was creature the right word?]
And not just myself as in bunny, I mean myself like, well, not human, I guess? Or human-like, I think? [She lets out an awkward laugh.] I seriously hope I didn't just put my foot in it and if I've offended, please say so! I'm really asking all this out of genuine curiosity.
[Not to mention some of these humans had animal-like features? Cat-like humans, bunny-like humans... that was just confusing things even further.]

It might be helpful if you took a poll on human/creature/humanoid, but you'd have to define those categories to make them useful for any analysis.

Wait, hold up, kidnapping victims? And the pattern was the letter of your name? Was the culprit finally found? Are you okay?

[ Oh no she's more focused on the kidnapping thing now. And it would almost be easier to be aloof about it if Judy hadn't finished off with are you, specifically you, okay. That concern, so casual and so overwhelming, reframes it as, yeah, not just a funny story but a legitimate trauma. ]
It's... complicated to explain. But now I've brought it up, it's hardly genteel not to. As far as I know, I was the first. I brought many of the others myself.
At the time I thought I was doing it of my own volition, so it isn't as though I'd blame you for retracting that compassion.

I think everyone says that about their own kind. And no one ever thought I could be a cop precisely because I'm a bunny and yet, here I am! Not that I think I'm anything special, of course. But sometimes you can defy expectations, like supposedly being uncool.

if Judy wanted someone non-human, here's a video with a snake-like (but furry?) snout filling the camera for a few moments before the owner pulls back to reveal what looks roughly like someone slapped wolf ears, fur, and patterning on a snake. ]
...I have no fucking clue, but it's nice seeing some more normal faces? It's definitely a thing, though. Last place I was at was almost all humans, too.

[She couldn't help but huff with a hand on her hip.]
Really? This isn't your first time being transported?

If a kid's old enough to be on the network by themself, they're old enough to hear swearing. There are more important things to protect them from.
But— no. Only one other time, but that place was a lot worse than this one. ...There are a couple of other people who've been through the same sort of thing.

[He sounds vaguely smug... is this #humanpride?]
And I guess being omnivores also helps.

[Then again, no one really ate meat anymore so it probably didn't count, anyway.]

[Was that offensive to say..? Hopefully not!]
That aside, we're workmates! Welcome to the team.

It might just have to do with the number of worlds that have humans as their dominant populations. Or how populations evolved.

a muppetwell, definitely not a human!]There do seem to be a lot of humans around, but also a lot of people who aren't human?
I don't mind it either, but it's a little strange... Back home, no one I know personally is human, just other emotions and mind workers, but out in the world it's only humans. But they don't really know about or ever meet us, which is also strange to think about that way, so... meeting anyone new here has been different in, um, separate confusing ways.
I- I'm sorry, I don't think that answered your question at all. Maybe a lot of worlds out there only or mostly have humans, but I don't know why that would happen either.

Now that you mention it, there are a lot more hyur than I'm used to seeing. Or, err, human as you said. You would think there would be more diversity, considering how many different worlds there are.

Bunny!

[A small shrug.]
...And of those of us here, not all the ones who look human truly are.
[Herself, for example.]
