If this adventure with chain mail has taught me anything, 'tis that many of us here are having our first exposure to the internet, with all its amusements and pitfalls included. Thus, I thought it might be nice to introduce another 'getting to know each other' game that some of us might not know yet. This one won't involve pictures or ratings of attractiveness, not to worry.

This game is called 'two truths and a lie'. The premise is simple. You list three statements about yourself, two true and one false. Ideally they should all be similar levels of unbelievable. Then, other people respond to you to guess which one is the lie. We all learn a little about each other and have a bit of fun.

The mortals have some kind of meditation technique, there's the immortal peaches, whatever celestial alchemist figures out immortality. Most celestials will figure out some way to bestow it.

I'm glad you had that option when you were the right age to make that choice, then.

I'm not human, no. One of my abilities is shape shifting, so I can take on nonhuman forms as well as change my sex. My default is female only because of the way we reproduce, although I'm still not sure why I appear as human most of the time. My memories aren't all intact, which is one of the disadvantages.

As I told somebody else: A black hole is an object formed from the death of a star. It is so dense that it exerts a pull that bends space and time. It pulls everything in, even light. It is inescapable. Beautiful in a way, I think.

I would call the system of class that governs my society feudal as well. [ Unfortunately. ] There are republics on some worlds, but they're smaller. Weaker.

I exorcise entities that the Goetic Circle deems a risk, or an active danger, so fairly literal. Why, would you call yourself a demon? We may mean different things by the term.

Okay, well, we don't have special peaches, if anybody knows how to meditate so well you become immortal it definitely isn't a well-known thing, and if celestials exist in my world they sure aren't wasting their time on humans. So assume immortality is not an option.
