If this adventure with chain mail has taught me anything, 'tis that many of us here are having our first exposure to the internet, with all its amusements and pitfalls included. Thus, I thought it might be nice to introduce another 'getting to know each other' game that some of us might not know yet. This one won't involve pictures or ratings of attractiveness, not to worry.

This game is called 'two truths and a lie'. The premise is simple. You list three statements about yourself, two true and one false. Ideally they should all be similar levels of unbelievable. Then, other people respond to you to guess which one is the lie. We all learn a little about each other and have a bit of fun.

The United States [wait, right] of America. My mistake, I forgot other versions of Earth had that. It has a president, you said? Democratically elected, or...?

My version of Earth appears to be a unique case, so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

We have an emperor. Had an emperor. I would have preferred your world's way of doing things.

It has, yes. The first emperor was coronated in 1813 ATB. Washington's Rebellion, which I believe is the origin of your United States, unfortunately failed a few decades before that.

I'm certain there's room for improvement in your world, at any rate, but I strongly suspect I'd prefer it nonetheless.

kind of makes sense if that didnt work, emperor is surprising though
but it probably is a little better
most folk like that are just figureheads now, countries now run as parliments or some other fancy term i should have known in high school history

No need to say anything, really, beyond what you have.

Exactly that: curiosity. Many entries to this activity have made me wonder what the circumstances are like on people's worlds. I decided to skip the activity in favor of learning more.
