If this adventure with chain mail has taught me anything, 'tis that many of us here are having our first exposure to the internet, with all its amusements and pitfalls included. Thus, I thought it might be nice to introduce another 'getting to know each other' game that some of us might not know yet. This one won't involve pictures or ratings of attractiveness, not to worry.

This game is called 'two truths and a lie'. The premise is simple. You list three statements about yourself, two true and one false. Ideally they should all be similar levels of unbelievable. Then, other people respond to you to guess which one is the lie. We all learn a little about each other and have a bit of fun.

Huh? Is that like how you said you didn't want us to have to fight?

Fighting in an army isn't very fun. Sometimes you have to do it, but you should try to avoid fighting when you can.

I guess, but I wanna help everyone save the world... And we don't have to be in the army, right? The guilds seem nice.

The guilds do seem helpful. And it seems like not all their quests require fighting, so that's good.

Right? So you don't have to worry, you can just do the stuff you want! That makes sense.

That is a little reassuring. I'll probably still take some fighting quests, I'm not sure what else I can do that would be helpful...

Really? But there's gotta be tons of things. Especially since you're so good at all this stuff like you said.

I'm not very good at anything but archery, and there are better people than me at that too.

Huh? But aren't there also people a lot worse than you? So there's no reason to think you're not helpful!

Those people have other, more useful talents.

No way, yours are really great. Besides! Who knows, you could find new things you like to do, too! The world is full of all kinds of new things.

I can't rule out the possibility... Unexpected things do happen.

Right? All the time! There's always something new you can find to do. Like did you know they have a sandcastle in Solarpeak the size of a house? And some of the sand is magic!

What does magic sand do?

They said it makes you float! Isn't that exciting?

It does sound like it could be fun, but how do you get down again?

Come to think of it, I never actually asked.

That seems like it would be important to know before you ended up on the ceiling?

I'm sure it's fine if they get them down eventually!

I'm sure they don't leave people up there forever, but I still would rather not...
