If this adventure with chain mail has taught me anything, 'tis that many of us here are having our first exposure to the internet, with all its amusements and pitfalls included. Thus, I thought it might be nice to introduce another 'getting to know each other' game that some of us might not know yet. This one won't involve pictures or ratings of attractiveness, not to worry.

This game is called 'two truths and a lie'. The premise is simple. You list three statements about yourself, two true and one false. Ideally they should all be similar levels of unbelievable. Then, other people respond to you to guess which one is the lie. We all learn a little about each other and have a bit of fun.

I'll have some for tomorrow over tea. It'll be a good way to wind down after a spar with Saya. You should have led with the immortality, it's rare to have someone I don't need some measure of thought in lethality.

They do when you're surrounded by far more mortals than immortals and would like not to have a headache dealing with them.

Usually they stop after you burn down some buildings, or kill a few.

I would rather not do that out of personal preference.

I would rather have a more complicated, more pleasant life, myself.

My life is perfectly pleasant.

What kind of tea do you prefer?

I don't mean to imply that it isn't. But mine, personally, would be unpleasant if I started lighting fires.

My favorite is jasmine tea, but I enjoy many blends of green tea.

Your wife has disclosed her annual problem. I have offered to help, and she's accepted as long as it was not 'inconvenient' to me.

Have you? That is a relief to hear.

[Saya hates to be a burden, which Kantera understands, but this is too important for that.]

I have and I've been exposed one too many times to those who don't want to be 'inconvenient.' I rather be informed. If I decide I won't do something, I want it to be on my terms, not because things were hidden from me.

I'll remind her not to try to make decisions for other people.

[Hypocritical though it maybe, because he's hidden things for the same reason.]

It would be nice. Its not like I make it a habit of helping people, I just have standards.
