if a being somewhat reliant on the acknowledgement of others arrived here, the way certain types of gods or spirits are
where would be some good places for them to put an offering bowl to get attention?
I'm talking obvious, but not obnoxiously in the way or anything like that

Let me guess, Japan? I heard they do offerings quite regularly still.

But offerings might be fun. I could get free snacks out of that.

yes! nothing big usually but it's still nice to be thought of

the last few places I've been I made it clear I preferred food offerings and got SO many baked goods

I know a lot of folks don't strictly need them, but that sounds lonely

it can be nice to get things like cool rocks or flowers
it's a different sort of effort than "hey I made you something"
but "I saw something I thought you'd like" is also a fun sentiment
