all right. so. hypothetically speaking
if a being somewhat reliant on the acknowledgement of others arrived here, the way certain types of gods or spirits are
where would be some good places for them to put an offering bowl to get attention?
I'm talking obvious, but not obnoxiously in the way or anything like that
asking for a hypothetical friend www

might not be so good for the newbies, though
I don't know if that's usual, but I certainly didn't come in with enough stuff I could afford to donate it for any purpose...

The four guild headquarters are fairly popular as training locations, as is the colosseum, I believe?
no subject
guild headquarters might work, though I'll have to ask permission
a colosseum's a little martial though

[Animism, Rinku.]
And the cults but those guys are kinda creepy. But! Uh... side of the road in a little shrine? Oh, or maybe you could ask at some tourist attractions! Or put it at your work!
Re: un:happyaround
...the animism, I mean, not the cults. I mean, I'm sure we had some of those, but they weren't really a focus
side of the road might work, but the hypothetical individual in question isn't really a guardian of travelers 🤔
actually wait there are probably animal shelters here, aren't there?

strays fall under my purview, I used to have feeders out for them at my favorite shrine
I'll have to get permission though

Travel offerings?
Like the bowl at church?
no subject
only the offerings don't have to be money
my friend's not really a guardian of travelers
but on the other hand they do deal in luck, so maybe having something for people heading out of town would be a good idea
no subject
What kind of luck?
no subject
I couldn't go myself
but a friend of mine was pretty religious. we talked about it a lot
general luck usually! not specifying is easier
but for people heading out to forage or fight, maybe better luck finding things. or dodging

I can't speak from experience.

that is both interesting and mildly freaky to think about
as someone who knows the details of their situation

but
hold on how do I put this.
I could get by before, I'd just get really hangry, for lack of a better term
and I don't know how to feel about essentially getting free lunch forever www

But offerings might be fun. I could get free snacks out of that.
[Loki no.]

and www why not
the last few places I've been I made it clear I preferred food offerings and got SO many baked goods

When your friend decides, could you let me know? I would like to leave offerings.
Re: un: death, text
in that case
I should probably admit the "for a friend" thing was a little bit of a joke, it's very much for me
so thank you very much, and I'll certainly let you know once I've picked a spot
I probably will go for a park if I can get the go-ahead for it
that's where my previous shrines have all gone, so something like that is comfy
no subject
Thank you.
And if there are particular offerings you enjoy, let me know.
no subject
food offerings are the best
I especially like strawberries and meat buns, but I'm not picky
being thought of is enough
