I hope everyone's okay now! Cleaning up after all that is HARD but at least my house didn't get hit too bad... Does anyone need help with anything after last week? Oh, and speaking of my house, we just added a bunch of expansions! We've got an indoor pool now! Friends can come over whenever! I think I know most people on here anyway, and Mary-chan's got a bunch of friends too.

Also also! During that whole thing I tried the full shapeshift. You know, the dragon skill that changes you on the inside and not just the outside? I did it to be more giraffe than I already am because I thought it would help me fight. And it was like, whoa! I could see everything! And hear everything! And I kinda kicked a guy into a wall! Does anyone know how to deal with sensory overload if I ever do that again because it's kind of a lot and by kind of I mean a lot a lot.

{ the single wing will form from his back now, curling in a way that should cusion his back side at least. then he'll call for barachiel for the front, shield raised and ready. }

I can tell you if you need to dial it up or down depending on how it feels.

[Rinku nods. She takes a deep breath, digs her fingernails into her palms, and turns on one heel to kick Ezra as she spins around.

Fun fact! A giraffe's kick can crack the skull of an attacking lion!]

there's a loud oof as he gets thrown back into the wall. even with a fair bit of distance it's enough to send him flying. thankfully between barachiel and gabriel's blessings he's just had the wind knocked out of him. barachiel's shield shattered but that means it took the hit for him. }

Damn, yeah you don't wanna use that on anyone innocent...

[Rinku lets the full shapeshift drop. She runs over to his side and frets, looking over him.]

Are you okay? Do you need healing? Sorry, I should've held back!

{ he'll cough for a second, but then give her a smile and a thumbs up--smiling through whatever pain or ache that is there. it'll be short lived. }

I'm fine, really! Pretty sure it caught the brunt of it. You definitely need to figure out the best way to dial back the power behind it, maybe take a slower turn for the kick?

Huh... You mean so there isn't so much force in it at once? I kinda slept through physics a lot in high school, but I think I get it.

Yeah, exactly. If you swing really fast then it picks up that speed. Honestly I dunno the math behind it, but I can feel the difference when I move that way.

So only do that to, like, a really strong monster or something... Got it. I think.

Yeah, yeah, exactly! So anything bad, go ham and all that.

{ he takes a deep breath. }

Really? Yeah! As long as it's not gonna hurt you too bad.

[Rinku runs back and gets into position. Her next attempt... is pulling it way too much, it won't hurt or do much at all.]

I'll be fine! Really! The shield's there to protect me so don't worry about it. Just think of me as a sounding board or something.

{ but this time the shield doesn't shatter at all, nor is he really pushed back, he just blinks at her. }

Oh. So uh. Somewhere in the middle of those two?

Huh... okay! It's kinda hard to tell when you're not usually this strong.

[Rinku tries again. A kick with force, just slower than before. Maybe a bit too slow, but it's still useful he has a shield.]

Yeah, it takes some getting used to. We have time though, so just keep trying.

{ the shield won't shatter with it, but it definitely seems to struggle for a moment and he has to take a step back. }

See! Already a bit better. Just a lil' more and I think you'll be there.

Oh! Right, yeah, more not less. Just needs a bit more oomph.

[She steps back, then moves to spin and kick again.]

{ this time, the shield from barachiel does shatter. while ezra isn't sent flying he does have to take a few steps back from the force of it and his arm feels the soreness from holding back. }

Perfect! Pretty sure you nailed it that time.

[Rinku spins. She undoes the internal shift and hugs Ezra with human-level strength.]

{ it's a bit like getting hugged by issac, who is equally much shorter than he is, as well as a bundle of sunshine. his hand reaches up to ruffle her hair, smiling at her. }

Nah, I'll be fine. I've definitely been through worse. I heal quickly too, so any bruises will be gone in an hour or two at most. You're fine.

[Rinku snuggles, bumping her fluffy horns (ossicones, technically) into his hand.]

That's great! Sorry for hurting you still, though, Ezra-san. But that's really cool! Do you know any of the people from the Titan world? Most of them heal fast just like you!

{ it's still weird getting used to the horns!nothorns but hey if she's happy then it's all good. it makes head pats and hair ruffles harder, but since there's no complaints he'll keep doing it. }

Titan world? What's that? But it's pretty cool, turns out a fair few people are blessed with it here.
