It's scary when you're still wrestling with how to handle friendship and then suddenly there's even bigger feelings you have to deal with.

Like! Friendship is already a lot and kind of scary, but its great and I love it and I want it, of course I do, but its also like throwing yourself off a cliff.

If it helps, you don't have to actually do anything with it? You can just say 'okay, I have a crush, I'm going to take all the time I need to process that' without being pressured to... act.

It could be worse? You and Shadow are at similar levels of inexperience with relationships of any kind, so it's not like he's going to judge you for not knowing what to do.

One, is what I said just know what makes you think its Shadow, or other factors?

Two, I could deal with inexperience, we muddle through a lot of things, I think I could deal with the muddle. I've already gone through so much 'I have no idea what I'm doing' awk with my familial relationships, that's just a fact of my life now.

Still! Shadow needs to learn to indulge and it can be a lot, yeah, but we can make BANK here and he deserves nice things because military bases are not conductive for a hedgehog's childhood.

I've been inviting Chipp to my place as much as I can get away with, I don't think he's caught on it's because I want him to sleep in a real bed.

I get growing up not having much and having to adjust to being able to spend money on whatever you want, but it's absolutely worth the effort.

Better. Coats been getting healthier, more weight. Reads a lot. Does a lot of, what's the phrase. The parallel play stuff. Will come hang out with me on his own, which is a good thing in general.

People can be a lot of you're not used to them and that can stand even if you want to hang out with people, let alone bring as introverted as he is.

I think he likes shape shifting too. I see him practice that a bunch.

Parallel play’s nice. Hanging out with people, but drains the social battery less.

What does he shapeshift into?

Yeah, it does. I even try to chat less. Sometimes he seems okay with me rambling though. But I think he likes the silence more.

Lots of stuff, though I think birds might be hus favorite.
