Isn't it pretty normal to prefer what you're used to? -Not that I've never been yelled at before, but, like. Not by people I cared about.

Its not normal for people to care about to want to physically hurt you.

It gets a little dicey when you can take pretty huge hits without problems.

But the yelling is 'cause its hard to deal with the emotion parts, right?

Yeah. Yelling is like... it's already hard for me to talk about heavy stuff, but talking about heavy stuff while people are really upset is like. Way harder than just taking a hit?

Yeah. Easier to take a hit, kind of worrying if that's what they WANT to do and think its good, and also you kind of should deal with the emotions of it?

Like when Shadow was upset at me before, he felt bad losing his temper and manhandling me. So I know if he DID hit me, its 'cause of his temper, and he doesn't want that to be the thing that controls him. But the conversation we had WAS important for him.

Why is the stuff that we should do that's important for having healthy relationships always the scary, difficult stuff?

Yeah, I do. Pretty wild. People also care about my feelings and stuff? Like, the number of people who've offered to kick the new Shadow's ass for me is boggling.

To be fair, his butt is very kickable.

I have never had this strong an urge to want to fight someone who wasn't actively threatening someone's life.

But I really want to fight him and he keeps teleporting away.

He won't fight me because he doesn't fight humans apparently?? But he called me a coward for not going back to my terrible world instead of planning to go back and take it over or destroy it or some shit.

He talks so much game for a guy who won't fight! And for someone who hates people 'assuming' things, he doesn't answer direct questions at the exact subject. You either want to misdirect people or actually state your case, you can't do the former while complaining they should get the latter.

Like I Know my Shadow doesn't understand stuff, because military base, but this guy is somehow worst at figuring out anything reasonable about society or like social interaction. I grew up in the woods alone for seven years, how do I society that much better?!

It's like he has zero concept of empathy. Not like even he doesn't get feelings, just he cannot fathom someone having another perspective or situation.

Jerk needs touch energy and apparently he runs too quick otherwise.

I did get to set him on fire once. And he still wouldn't fight me after that, which, at that point what does it take.
