It's okay! I took Leon-kun in his travel case to a shelter with Mary-chan and the Pokémon. They're all okay. Except Hina-chan snuck out one time and I found her biting one of the rioters, so she was in trouble after that...

Hina! [He tuts and smiles softly.] She doesn't know fear, does she? We kept our fairy dog and the Dream Beast inside - except when they needed to potty.

Yeah, I don't think she realized anything was wrong. She doesn't have eyes anyway, so all the light going out was probably just another day, and she seemed pretty excited to go someplace new... she probably thought it was a vacation, huh?

I imagine she did. She's lucky to have you looking out for her. [Poor little Pokemon.] Will you give her extra pets for me?

Of course! She had a really fun birthday, too, this year. It's her first one, after all.

[gentledawn]

You needed to celebrate it! Does she have everything she needs?

I think so! She got a bunch of presents too, it was nice. Ellie-chan gave her an iron perch to hang from, and Reiner-san gave her a little crown he made that she likes to wear... and sometimes chew on. And some people gave her blood and snacks and stuff! And Megumi-chan got her a bunch of those bouncy balls.

[gentledawn]

How wonderful. [Now he is thinking, cuddling under his blanket with a small frown.] I'm thinking Lord Runyu's Dream Beast might like to meet her. He takes the form of a little deer - a stag - and he is as kind as his master.

Oh, that sounds nice! If I warn her not to bite him, I bet it'll go well. Mecchan's working hard on meeting new people, too.

I was just imagining Hina hanging from one of the Dream Beast's antlers. [He chuckles to himself...and then coughs.] Mecchan is welcome too. All of your friends are lovely; they would help him come out of his shell.

Aww, that sounds cute! So he's shy like Mecchan?

He tries to act older than his age. I think it's a defense. He really is adorable.

I can't wait! It'll be nice to get them out more. Oh, speaking of which, Mary-chan has another Pokémon now! I guess she wandered into that pocket dimension in the mall and it followed her home. She was worried she'd get in trouble, but it's so cute!

Does she? Why would she get in trouble? The more, the merrier! [The Pokemon are so cute.]

Yeah! I know I'm pretty easy on her, but I'm happy to see she's got another little friend! It's a Shuppet, I looked them up and they eat bad feelings. Mecchan got scared and it just kinda absorbed it until he felt better!
