Hello, everyone. I hope I'm doing this right. I've never posted something like this, and we don't have this sort of technology at home. It's amazing.

So, my wife and I opened up a Psychiatry Clinic in Nightwake! It's called...well, the Nightwake Psychiatry Clinic. It took us quite awhile to get it set up. I'm used to working in a hospital or another clinic, not setting up my own. There was a lot of work to be done to get here.

Anyway, I wanted to share that I'm open for appointments now. I'd treat it the same way I would at home. Everything is strictly confidential.

I know a change of worlds can be challenging, this is the second my wife and I have been to, so if all you want to do is talk in a place where you know where nothing will be shared and it's safe and judgment free, I'm good for that, too.

I haven't before, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean it's impossible. It may just require a few extra steps.

Hello, doctor. Um. Is psychiatry like a therapist or is it different?

There's a lot of similarities between the two. Both can do various forms of therapy for people and help with mental and emotional health.

However...a psychiatrist has a background in medicine and can also diagnose more complex conditions. We can also do medical testing and prescribe medication if needed.

A therapist doesn't need to have a background in medicine.

A-and we didn't exactly get to arrive here with all our things from home! But my husband really is a psychiatrist! He works at the hospital back home in Berlint. And, I was a secretary at City Hall, so I'm doing the same kind of work here at his office.

It's kind of why it took awhile to get the office up and running since Loid had to prove his credentials without the usual paperwork. But, the people at Nightwake City Hall cleared him, we have their certification and everything.

Yes, I can work with more than one at the same time. Having a friend with you can be very beneficial to both people. It's why group therapy and support groups work, after all.
