[The video starts off with Ren sitting in a room that has been made to look like a summer forest. There are several seats around him with a table in the middle and a television on the wall. There’s a touch screen next to it for selecting songs and two wireless microphones in their charge stations.]
Hello, everyone. My name is Ren Jinguji and it’s my pleasure to announce that I’m opening my own business here. A karaoke bar, called Shining Karaoke, located in Blossomcrown. Let me give you a tour of the place, starting from one of the four rooms we have for singing karaoke.
[He demonstrates how the decorations can be changed by another touch screen by the door before exiting the room and showing three other doors close by. Then he walks to the front of the business that has the front desk and a simple bar.]
Of course I’m looking for workers. Cashiers, wait staff, bartenders, mechanics and even bouncers for security purposes.
But this is not the end of this announcement…
[He moves the camera to show double doors that are currently open to another establishment right next to the karaoke bar and there’s someone waiting there, Ren gives his phone to Kagami with a quick V mark given to the camera first.]
[Kagami quickly rights the phone once he has a good hold on it, giving Ren a grin before gesturing behind him.]
Yo! Name’s Kagami. Told ya I was thinkin’ about making the diner, right? Well, here it is! Called Kagami’s Diner.
[Behind him as he showed off was the diner, there’s booths along one side with windows to see out into Blossomcrown, and a row of stools along a bar on the other side. The kitchen is obviously behind that along with a jukebox at the very end. He then moved towards the entrance to show off the seating outside as well.]
The weather’s usually pretty nice in Blossomcrown, so I got outdoor arrangements, too.
[He walked back inside and lifted the camera to show the menu that was above the window where the food would be set for the waiters to grab.]
Menu’s up there but I got ones at the tables too. Gonna be servin’ breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So c’mon in whenever.
[He made to give the camera back before suddenly putting it back on himself, finger right at the camera.]
And before any of you knuckleheads start given’ me crap over the name, diners tend to be named after the owner, got it? So I don’t wanna hear it!
[He heard it back in Avalon, he ain’t about to hear it here too just because he was following tradition! He gave one last glare to the camera and then handed it back to Ren.]
[Ren is still all smiles at the camera and he keeps it so that they are both in the view for the final part.]

[Aymeric watches the process in equal parts fascination and mental note taking. The blender itself catches his attention.] What device is that?

[Because he's gonna load it with the stuff anyway. The canned kind, he doesn't have time to do it legit. But it works. Kagami looked over his shoulder at the question.]
This? 'S a blender. Faster than mixing by hand and I ain't mixin' a milkshake the old fashion way either.
[There's a reason they're called milkshakes. He grabbed some milk and poured it into the blender. He was eyeballing how much to put in, so they never really came out the same but that was sorta the point. He pressed the button and on it went, a bit loud but nothing obnoxious.
It didn't really need much time to mix, once it got to the right consistency, he turned it off to get to the strawberries to cut into slices.]
Dunno how techy your world is, but I guess y'don't got these, huh? Milkshakes used to just be like, milk, flavorings, and ice and you shook 'em up to get the drink. Didn't really make 'em all thick and stuff like you're gonna get today. Dunno when the blender was invented, but it was a total game changer, yanno?
[He added the sliced strawberries to the mixture and turned it back on. His voice rose over the noise.]
Don't really remember the fully history when I looked into it last, got curious but not 'nough to take it in, but people experimented and boom, the modern milkshake was born.
[He flipped the switch off and grabbed a tall glass, pouring the pale pink mixture into it. It was dotted with the now bits of strawberry. Once filled nearly to the brim, Kagami reached into the fridge again and took out the can of whipped cream. He gave it a good shave and swirled the nozzle around the top until a small mountain of whipped cream now topped the milkshake. And, of course, a maraschino cherry on top. He placed the glass and a metal straw on the counter.]
Voila. Enjoy, sir knight.
[He couldn't help the cocky grin and mock, informal salute. Okay, so it was an American salute that resembled the Maelstrom salute but whatever. Kagami was just being playful and quite pleased with himself, convinced he made a damn good milkshake for a newbie.]

More advanced machinery - "tech" as you say, is newly in development in my world. Ishgard, the city from which I hail, is one such place making great advancements in the craft. I'd heard of them working on such devices for the home - something about an instant kettle, I believe. Perhaps blenders are in the works there as well.
[Oh, but Ishgard isn't the focus right now. That delectable looking dessert is. His eyes widen as Kagami pours it from the blender and begins making the final preparations. The thick texture, the strawberry chunks, that whipped cream peak with a cherry on top - ]
If this tastes as extraordinary as it looks, then I may have to come here every day. [He gives Kagami a somewhat confused but still proper bow in response to the salute - does the Maelstrom exist in his homeworld too? - then slips the straw into the milkshake. He takes a sip - then puts a little extra force into it because it's thicker than he expected. But when it finally, finally hits his tongue, Aymeric lets out a soft sigh of satisfaction. It takes a few more sips before he can bring himself to pull away.]
Oh, praise Halone! Master Kagami, this is an utter marvel for the palate. Simply exquisite! I daresay you've made a regular customer of me this day.

[How do you get an instant kettle? Unless they're working on some kind of electric one, but Aymeric didn't mention if electricity was even a thing there. Could run on some kinda other power though.
He snorted a little in amusement as he had thoroughly confused the guy with his playfulness. Worth it.
His grin widened and he affected a bow. The confection was an incredibly simple thing, but if someone had never had it or even knew it existed, it was easy to see how it appeared more than simple.]
You're welcome and good to hear. I'd suggest trying it with fries next time. People love the salty sweet thing. Anyway, it's on the house so enjoy.
[He did have some orders he needed to work on. Thankfully, he had hired another chef so it wasn't like nothing was being done. But the dinner rush was going to happen in a couple hours.]

[He's taking another sip as Kagami continues. The mention of fries intrigues him - but then Kagami mentions that it's on the house. His eyes widen.] Oh, Master Kagami - that is most generous of you, but I assure you that it is not necessary. Are you certain?
