I'll make this brief.

I'm asking those from other worlds to share any skills you believe would be beneficial in exploration and threat mitigation.

It seems that exploring the Seasonal Segments and discovering the mysteries behind their threats is key to facilitating the return to our worlds. For this reason, it's imperative that we assemble exploration groups of diverse skill sets. Which is the point behind this post.

Also to seek someone who might be able to build a database for storing this information and sorting it to help people form effective groups.

Know this, I'm not going to demand people share if they do not wish to. If you feel confident you can form your own group, that's your choice.

Aside from that, I suppose this is where I seek those who don't mind touching a large predator animal.

That's good to hear. I was away for a few days for a quest, so I'm a little delayed.

Do you think people will be bothered by it?

Which quest were you after?

Some people might be frightened. The wolf is much larger than most breeds.

I met the person you asked to help with riding lessons. Apparently he also carries powerful gear that allows him to climb incredible heights. I suggested he help with fall practice as well.

I see. You seem to be very aware of yourself, but I suppose some people can be shallow and only consider appearances.

That's good to hear. Though I have to wonder what you mean by 'fall practice'?

That explains the time involved. I take it you were successful.

I want people to know what they're getting into.

He seems adept at falling from considerable heights without taking much damage. That would be of use during an expedition. Or even when fighter monsters larger than ourselves.

We were, yes. Thankfully both of us use water in fights.

I understand, though I am very curious to see now.

Yes, he already threw me through the air and caught me. I would say he's very experienced with it from my own time with him.

That would give an advantage. I figured my wind would give me the opposite.

I suppose I can show you. It would count as a skill.

Wind would likely only spread it further sadly, yes.

Only if you are comfortable with it, of course.

Yes, we were on a quest together where we couldn't reach the birds. I did end up with a few bruises, but it was an interesting time.

I'm more comfortable in that form than any.

I suppose as long as you accomplished your mission, it was worth it. And you learned a new way to use his skills.

Then I'd like to see. If only to show that we'd be able to work together without issues.

Both of our skills, but yes. It was successful.

Which of your skills did you learn a new use for?

My usual go to is Blossomcrown park, if that works for you?

It was more realising I'm able to use it in the air, actually.

The park is fine. Although I prefer the less frequented areas of it.

Now, you just have to figure out how to practice that technique.

We can meet at one of the more secluded areas then.

I don't imagine I'll be tossed in the air that high that often.

I can't deny that, but I'll probably be fine.

[ Sometime later, he's going to send him a picture of some secluded park area, nearly melting into a thicker section of trees. The picture only shows a pony-sized black wolf sitting on its haunches and staring directly into the camera. ]

{ it will take him a little time to get there, between other responses and happenings, but soon enough he's walking towards the area of the park he recognises from the trees towards the edge.

Hello, I hope you've been well? { though he doesn't know if he can respond while like this, he should be able to at least answer yes or no questions by nodding or shaking his head. }

[ He cannot in fact. But yes, he can nod just as well. Which he does slowly to ensure it's understood.

His device is currently in its watch form around one of his paws. ]

{ a smile is given in return to that, appreciative of how he's repsonding. }

I hope this is not too offensive to ask, but may I?

{ he raises a hand, tugging off the glove covering it, as an indication he'd like to pet him. }

[ There is a low shy, but he steps forward, head slightly lowered to allow the action. He might as well get used to it. It is better than restoring his energy via human-to-human contact. There is more distance this way. ]

{ his hand lowers with a very gentle touch, giving a few soft pets before he'll give the other space. }

It doesn't feel any different, so I think if it comes to it and someone is fearful, offering this may be helpful?

{ since he had said some people may be scared of him in this form. }

[ Doesn't feel any different? What does Ayato mean by that? He lifts his head again and cocks it quizzically to the side. ]

Your fur. { he says it with a faint smile on his face. } For most people, the soft touch is rather comforting.

At least your expressions in this form are akin to what I'm used to seeing as well, so while communication may be limited, it does work to an extent.

[ Oh, that does make sense. He nods his understanding. He actually enjoys the touch as well, not that he's going to advertise that. Chalk it up to lupine instinct. ]
