I'll make this brief.

I'm asking those from other worlds to share any skills you believe would be beneficial in exploration and threat mitigation.

It seems that exploring the Seasonal Segments and discovering the mysteries behind their threats is key to facilitating the return to our worlds. For this reason, it's imperative that we assemble exploration groups of diverse skill sets. Which is the point behind this post.

Also to seek someone who might be able to build a database for storing this information and sorting it to help people form effective groups.

Know this, I'm not going to demand people share if they do not wish to. If you feel confident you can form your own group, that's your choice.

Aside from that, I suppose this is where I seek those who don't mind touching a large predator animal.

I guess it depends on the monster, but I'm a tough opponent, sure.

[ He's not the toughest, necessarily, but he's hard to kill and that counts. ]

I'm not afraid of wolves or anything. Is this like a pet or something that needs attention? I don't know much about pets.

Which monsters are you most effective against?

[ Since asking which monsters is he weakest against would probably seem like information fishing. ]

It's not a pet. It's part of me.

I don't know. I don't know what's even out there. Things smaller than a 15 meter titan I assume, but it's not like I can just fight anything and everything.

Part of you. Like a werewolf?

[ He knew a werewolf in Folkmore so that's his best guess. ]

Elemental resistances?

An extension of myself. Werewolves are not real in my world.

[ Which is true but also hardly the whole story. ]

As a titan? Who knows.

[ He knows a little; titans run extremely hot. They're not weak to things like ice or water, not in any way that really matters. Lightning? He's not sure, but considering the lightning crash that happens as the titan body forms, he's not worried about something like that. Fire? Maybe if there was a lot of it, but he wasn't kidding when he said he was hard to kill.

Still, he's not idiotic enough to just go blabbing how to kill a titan, laying his weakness out like that. ]

Oh. I don't think I understand exactly. Werewolves aren't real in my world either. I don't think I'd ever heard of one at all. I met one in the place I was before this.

[ Isn't that what that other guy said he fought in his world? Why he needed the special gear. ]

Where were you before here?

[ Why are so many people apparently world jumpers? Is that something this place inadvertently seeks out? Some metaphysical aura. ]

That's what the monster I turn into is called. A titan. People with my bloodline can potentially turn into titans, but only a few of us can do so voluntarily, and only those few have control over it like I do.

[ But Wolf's instinct is more or less right! That's the same kind of titan, though Eren's is more dangerous since he can obviously think and react for himself. Good thing he's not the bad guy in this world! Probably! ]

A place called Folkmore. But I had a choice to go there and I went. Obviously none of us chose to come here.

I've heard it of before. From another here. He mentioned something about fighting them.

I didn't realize it was something others could transform into.

[ Are you a good titan or a bad titan, Eren? (Please know, he will probably assume the worst because that's what he does.) As a matter of fact, he's probably side-eyeing from behind the screen right now. :/ ]

You must have wished to leave your world badly.

[ Although if he was going to transform into a dangerous monster, perhaps that was the best course of action. ]

Did you hear that from Jean? We're from the same place. There are a few of us from my world, actually. It's complicated. We did fight titans. Most people who turn into titans turn into mindless monsters and don't get to turn back.

All titans were people once.

[ Shit, does Jean even know that? Welllll that's not Eren's problem to deal with today!

Is he a good titan? Depends on where you're standing. JUST KIDDING he's pretty awful no matter how you spin it, all things considered, but he's not actively a danger to anyone in Ellipsa. ]

I did want to leave. I didn't want to see the future there. Our world was hell.

I think that's the one, yeah.

[ Wait, we? A titan that fights other titans? And Jean is all right with this. He must be, as casually as Eren talks about it. And what's this about all titans being people once? This whole situation is starting to hurt his head. ]

Were you a protector there?

I was a soldier.

[ Until he defected and decided to end the world but DETAILS! ]

Isn't it a problem if you're here then? You seem a valuable asset with your power.

No. Trust me, it's better if I'm not home anymore. I don't ever want to go there again.

Are you a danger because of what you are?

Not to anyone here unless I absolutely had to be. But anyone could say that. Or at least anyone with power. Anyone who could fight. I don't have any plans to hurt anyone.

I meant are you a danger to your world. This place has a way of tampering with any abilities that it sees as too extreme.

[ Which matters to him more than "plans to hurt anyone" since as Eren says, anyone can say that. ]

That depends on your perspective.

[ It doesn't, really. He knows he's a danger to his world, he just doesn't want to come out and write the whole thing right on the network for everyone to see, whoops. ]

The thing that could have made me too dangerous doesn't exist in this world though. Neither do the circumstances we had at home so everything is different.

But it's enough to make you not want to return.

So are you looking to be something different here? A fresh start?

[ He doesn't really believe in such things. But he's curious what Eren's answer could reveal about his intentions. ]

I guess. I didn't ask to come here. I went to Folkmore so I didn't have to live the future that waited in my world. Then I ended up here somehow, just like everyone did.

I promised someone that I would be better than I was at home the last time we saw one another there. I'm trying to do that.

I can understand that. A promise should be binding.

[ He's not entirely oblivious to how he sounds. He probably sounds untrustworthy, but whatever. He meant what he said about not wanting to hurt anyone here. ]

Yeah. It should be.

[ Is Eren's word binding? Maybe! So far he's taken this promise to Levi pretty seriously at least. It's something. ]

That said, I'd be interested in a demonstration of your abilities.

Sure, I don't mind showing you. It's easiest somewhere with a lot of room and no people around, out in the segments or something.
