{Video; un:rapunzel}
[Rapunzel is still experimenting, still figuring this out. She has never used anything remotely resembling this device before. But she gathers it would help her get in touch with others here? Apparently. She figures it akin to leaving notes or letters for someone? That sort of thing. The idea of video, of recording herself is new, not something she considers at first when she experiments with it and herself and Pascal show up on the screen for everyone, green eyes wide as she blinks, taking it in as her head tilts slightly. Pascal is at her shoulder almost entirely hidden amid her hair, which trails out off the screen with having seventy feet of it, though it is definitely visible behind her as well. One hand withdraws from the device, to run her fingers through her hair.]
I was told this might help us talk to others. I don't know if -- is it working, Pascal?
[The chameleon at her shoulder seems to give a shrug? As of course he has no more idea on it than she does.]
If this is working, I'm Rapunzel, and this is Pascal. I wonder if Eugene is here too. If he is, then I need to find him! He's hurt and I can...I need to help him! I can heal him!
[Her hands tighten around her strands of hair, fidgeting and wringing them almost in nervous habit. Pascal nudges at her cheek with his head, causing her to glance down to him and take a breath.]
If anyone knows Eugene - he might be going by Flynn Rider. Please let me know. I just want to know if he's alright. And I guess, I also need to figure this place still. Since I just got here, more or less. Assuming this works. I think it did? Let me see....

She reaches to the device, to try figure if it worked in sending a message, ending the feed.]

I left it for like, two or three days? So. Yeah, pretty recently I left, for my eighteenth birthday. I wanted to see the floating lights - the lanterns the nearby kingdom would release that I would watch from my window.

I was hidden away in a tower because of my hair. My hair can heal, can keep people young. Something like that, it has to be protected. People might want to use me for it, to cut it or kidnap me or something. At least that's what I was told. So I stayed there. I never left. Until recently.
[She figures, given Gothel had been lying. Everyone else had seemed nice back home, aside perhaps from the Stabbington brothers. So people here were probably, generally, okay to be trusted?]

[....an understatement but. Well. It really has. Been a lot that happened in such a short time. She's kind of still....processing it all? And she is still figuring everything yet. Let alone ending up here. And learning to use the phones. Whether she is aware that her conversations are visible to everyone else and not just the person that replies to her.]
