Hi all.

I've found in my travels that the best ways to get to know a community are to see what people do in their off time and find out where they go. So. Tell me anything.

What are your favorite places to eat?

What do you do with your time?

What are popular activities or hobbies around here?

For my own interestes, I have a few specifics:

Where is the nearest record shop?

Does anyone need an archival specialist? Data engineer? Librarian?

Also-- Does anyone know of a half decent mechanic that will follow instructions?

That's a new one.

I'll see what's needed around, I guess. Media archival is my personal interest, but honestly everything has value if you know what to look for.

Cecily is very brave, or foolish. Hard to tell with house pets sometimes.
Still, I'm glad that she's okay. I need to figure out how to handle Aurora's whiskers until she's old enough to better control them.

[That trait was in fact the very reason why Athena had asked the original Cecily for help in the first place. She had been ready to take on the unknown for the sake of what she believed to be important, and Athena needed that.

Aurora's zaps didn't help the problem that was already there. It's why I'm looking for a mechanic. Something in there overloaded and it's hard doing that work myself, even if I pop the mechanisms off.

The fairies run a lot of things around here. It was new to me, too. At least they make sure no one can steal the books, since when they're due back to the library the fairies just come swipe them.

I've spent a lot of time in the library lately, they have books from many different worlds. I bet you'll find it fascinating.

My favorite place to eat? That's like picking a favorite star... but the places that make desserts, I guess.

[Small world, huh? There's not many people with the name "Cor" running around. So, is it safe to assume she means Cor Leonis? If so, he's a little surprised to know that Cor has made a new friend.]

We're accidental roomates. I don't even know how it happened.

I ended up with no roommate, but I do have someone who is from my world that came here before I did.

That makes things easier.

This isn't my first time in a new world without support. At least this time around it's much more comfortable.

This isn't my first time with one fully functioning arm in a questionable situation. At least this time the company is cute and not actively trying to kill me.

Indeed, I am but as for my name–it roughly translates into "King of the King" alluding to me being the king preceding the Chosen King.

[Even so, he makes it a point for everyone to just refer to him simply as "Regis". Although, some of his subjects certainly enjoyed joking about his name. Regis is painfully aware of it thanks to the tabloids in Eos.]

Though. I have to say that some of the names that keep popping up are driving me nuts. I'm a scholar of antiquities. That's, ancient history and myth from about 4000 years before my time.

Your language seems like it has a lot in common with what I call Latin. It's the ancient and now dead language of the old Empire that drew the blueprint for most of Western society.

Well we have a reasonable level of freedom of movement, minimal restrictions upon us, we can choose our housing situation and what food we want...

How did you know I was young? I could be super old for all you know.

I was in the kendo club in high school, figured I should keep it up even if I'm not attending the school here. Yeah, it's one of the few quiet places around here, not that I dislike cities. But sometimes, you need quiet.

Well, I use my MP3 player and my phone to listen to music nowadays, but I know things sound better on vinyl. I was really into cassettes when I was a kid, too.

What year are you from? It was 2010 for me.
