[ The video opens on a young man in his late teens. Tall, blond hair, gold eyes, solid build—good looking, carrying himself with an air of confidence. ]

Wow, this technology is something else. Weird to think that I don't have to write a bunch of letters.

[ He smiles, easy and genuine, matching his voice. ]

I'm Reiner Braun. I'm looking for a few friends of mine, and it seems like this is the easiest way to get the word out.

One of them is a tall guy—taller than me—with dark hair and green eyes. He probably looks nervous, like he wants to be anywhere but here. The other is a shorter girl, blond hair and blue eyes, who looks like she could kick your ass. She can, too, so maybe don't test her patience.

[ He pauses for a second. ]

I guess I'm also looking for anyone else who recognizes me. Better to get any reunions out of the way now, right?

Anyway, if you see anyone matching those descriptions, I'd appreciate it if you let me know. Or if you just wanna chat. I'm pretty new here, and it'd be nice to meet some friendly faces.

[At almost 6'3" Nagi is also taller than Eren, though you couldn't tell from his current slouching!]

It's not that often I find people taller than me, so I'd probably notice if I'd seen him anywhere. Sorry.

[ Don't ask why Reiner knows Bertolt's exact height. Everyone has their hobbies!

He rolls a shoulder in a shrug, seeming to take the news in stride. For all he knows, Bertolt is hiding out somewhere. (… But isn't that was Zeke said about Annie?) ]

It's all right. I know what you mean about not meeting people taller than you very often. But at least it makes it easy for friends to spot you in a crowd, right?

Yeah, it's not common. If I see anyone that tall with brown hair, I guess I can message you again?

[Snap a picture and send it to the guy, that's a fairly easy thing to do. And since they're talking about finding friends..]

I haven't seen my friend here, but he has purple hair so it's pretty rare. He's six foot, and seventeen like me, so if you see him you gotta message me too.

[And now for the million yen question:]

Are you guys friends with Eren, then? [Since you obviously know him..]

[ Seventeen, six feet tall, purple hair. That's quite a description, and more than unique enough for Reiner. He nods. ]

Sure, I'll keep an eye out for your friend.

[ And then comes that question about Eren.

To his credit, Reiner doesn't falter. He couldn't have maintained his cover for five years if every awkward question fazed him—even if he's still mulling over the possibility that he might have a type. ]

We come from the same … world, I guess it's called? [ He shakes his head, huffing a half-laugh. ] Sorry, the idea of different worlds is still a little much.

Ah, that makes sense. I think there's a bunch of people here from the same world as me, but I don't know any of them. It does have about seven billion people, after all...

[Not that Nagi knows that they aren't necessarily the same Earths! but yeah.]

I met Eren here though, a while back. We hang out some time.

[They just do normal teenager-y stuff. Buy snacks from the convenience store, play on phones (ok-thats just nagi) hold hands in the rain, that sort of thing.]

[ It hasn't occurred to Reiner that he might not recognize people from his world. Maybe he'd find a few more if he wore his Marleyan uniform. Or maybe he'd only wind up painting a target on his chest. (Not that getting stabbed through the heart would kill him, but still.) ]

Yeah? That's good to know. Wouldn't want him turning to stone or something.

[ Reiner just assumes that there's physical contact involved when hanging out. Blame it on him being a very physically affectionate person. ]
