I guess...trying your best to improve yourself? Learning to love yourself is also something I've heard before.

[ But how can you love yourself if you're slowly turning into an eldritch terror monster?? ] But if you don't think you're deserving that's a bit hard, huh?

I'm not sure either. I'm still...trying to grapple with it myself. Believing that I'm someone worthy of being loved, in a relationship, even if the person knows what I am.

It doesn't really come up back home due to phrobiests being seen as monsters and inhuman. But it's a bit different here with people from all walks of life.

If it hurt other people to see you think you were undeserving, would that be a good enough reason to start believing that you are?
