Make sure you always have food to eat and somewhere warm to sleep. Find people you like and spend a lot of time with them. Don't let anyone make you do things you don't want to.

All the people Oryou knows who focus on improving themselves just keep going and going and going. Even after they're dead sometimes.

As for deserving it. I did wipe out multiple civilisations. So it is not for me to determine.
