"... you're right, it's not. But I'm still annoyed at you, you little cutie troublemaker."

Welcome to a Mini Event which is basically: network server has been damaged, so all network messages have a chance of going to the wrong recipient. It doesn't need to happen, but there's a high chance of misfires happening for the duration of the mini event.

This post can be used for sending out messages that can end up for anyone and everyone completely without meaning to. Feel free to also just send a blank message with your character and receive messages from others! Whatever works best for you and is most fun~!

This event will happen for the whole weekend, starting from now and ending on late Sunday night once they finally manage to fix the mistake.


Remember to put warnings up if you want to post anything NSFW-ish and especially link pictures; however if it evolves into "sexting", remember to move it to another post.

[And in a few short moments, Ruby’s find Nia laying on that rock she showed off on.]

Well, we may be close enough to the original humans, but Gormotti are still descended from felines. A nice warm spot is a favorite of almost everyone, even after we lose our baby fur.

[Nia scooches over a bit, just enough to make room on the rock for Ruby to sit.

Oh, I don’t blame you at all! It feels nice with us, too!

[And Ruby takes her seat beside Nia.]

Hope I wasn’t interrupting a nice nap.

Nah, got sidetracked and couldn't sleep.

[And Ruby is a pillow now.]

Speaking of that, check this out!

[Nia points at a nearby small stack of pebbles. They start to wobble, and then they float into the air and begin circling around.]

[Ruby giggles and begins rubbing Nia’s head absentmindedly.]

Oh, well!

[Her eyes go wide seeing that.]

Is that from the magic here?

Yep. Was messing around and making things float for a while before I started running low. Telekinesis is gonna be really useful, so I want to get a lot of practice in. You don't mind acting as my charger for a while, right?

[To accompany her question, the floating pebbles arrange themselves into a rough approximation of a question mark.]

[Ruby smiled at that and quickly nodded.]

Just tell me what I can and can’t do and I’ll be your battery charger!

Just try not to get too distracting, alright?

[The Catalyst Scimitar joins the objects floating around in Nia's telekinetic grasp, clashing against a line of pebbles in a mock swordfight.]

Ha! I’ll try my best!

[And as Ruby continues to pet Nia, she watches with interest the swordfight going on.]

That’s so cool!

I could do more, but I'm gonna have to keep it basic. Contact restores some magic, but not much.

[The pebble sword drops to the ground, replaced by Nia's water blades. The three floating swords clash with one another, though not the same way. The lighter one with no handguard is more aggressive and straightforward with it's strikes, while the bulkier one with one handguard is more cautious and only strikes when an opportunity to do so is opened.]

Hopefully you’ll get more reserves as you practice!

[And Ruby watches the swordfight with interest, noting the various sword fighting styles she’s using. She has to say, she’s impressed.

Her hand moves lower, brushing her face and neck next.]

[Nia starts purring, though the mock swordfight doesn't falter in the least.]

Hey, Ruby. Why do you think I'm fighting differently with each sword?

[Ruby ponders a bit before an answer comes to her.]

It’s the fighting styles of your family, isn’t it?

That's right. Mythra might be as calculating as the supercomputer she used to be in battle, but her style's still pretty aggressive. She's all about causing as much damage as possible as fast as possible. Pyra, on the other hand, tends to try to seek out weak points and gaps in her opponent's guard. She'll come at you from the side or from behind, she's surprisingly sneaky like that. Neither of them were great at actual defense, but that was what we had Tora and Mὸrag for. Zeke would help out Rex on the offensive, while I worked my arse off to keep them all alive.

Heheh, they were all bloody losers, but we made it work in the end.

Nah, you’re not losers at all. You were friends. A team. A family. And that’s what matters!

Hey, I never said I was a loser. The rest absolutely were, though. Mὸrag was a close case, but after seeing what happened when she tried to prepare Argentum Monkfish... Don't get me wrong, they were right terrors in battle, but outside it was just too easy to make fun of them. I think that was actually exactly what Shellhead- Zeke, I mean- was going for, so I guess he gets a pass there.

[Ruby laughs at that.]

But, still the compliment stands! They can be both goofballs and family!

[And Ruby’s hand slips lower, to her shoulder and collarbone.]

Yeah, that sounds about right. Rex always did treat Shellhead like his big brother or something, so I guess that would make Pandoria the sister-in-law? Morag and Bridgid were the ones who kept us from getting into too much trouble, and Tora and Poppi were usually the ones who got us into it in the first place.

[More water forged weapons join the first two, now just floating in the air. A comically large broadsword, a pair of twin whips, and a trio of a shield, a pair of gauntlets, and a sword that suspiciously resembles the Aegis swords all clumped together.]
