001: Pick Your Poison (Video; un: caster, backdated to event)
[When the broadcast started, Caster was seen sitting in the darkened room of her apartment, dark cloak concealing half her face and covering most of her body in shadow. Certainly, not the most reassuring sight! The ominous smile she gave as she started to speak didn't help either.]
Good evening... Ellipsa, wasn't it? I haven't met many people here yet, but I am known as Caster. A pleasure.
[In Avalon, it had taken her a good couple of months to make her first post on the networks- but under the circumstances, a challenge had presented itself that matched extremely well to her skillset.]
I'll get to the point. I gather that the recent, abnormally cold weather has brought a curse along with it, and that potions need to be brewed in order to alleviate it.
Potion-making happens to be something of a speciality of mine, so if you do find yourself in need of one, do come seek me out at the Apartments in Nightwake City. Likewise, I would not object to sharing teaching of the art if anyone is particularly intrigued.
...I look forward to hearing from you.
[She carefully held up a couple of potion bottles in one gloved hand, potions that lightly gleamed in the dark- the first, shimmering gold with a label written in Greek script, and the other a warm orange that flickered like a fireplace. The light only served to throw more creepy shadows across what could be seen of her face.
...Was anyone desperate enough to trust this suspicious woman??]

Text
Still, as she responds with text, Caster made an attempt to do the same- although her skills at typing were amateur at best. This was certainly interesting information to hear!]
it has taken a little time to get it right
my first few attempts were a little too hot to be workable
were the side effects that you encountered much the same
?
no subject
it wasn't hot, no
it was the opposite
everything felt... colder
literally and figuratively
i got... angrier, which i rarely do
it felt wrong to be around people i trust and care for
everything kind of felt a little sharper, and tighter in my chest
it didn't stop until i took a potion made the proper way
no subject
interesting
so it seems that when poorlymade this will suck what heat there is left in someone rather than the other way around
i was using a potion designed to produce heat as a base to begin with so perhaps that is why we saw a difference in the effects
you said that you and your ally had been able to find one made properly already correct// ? if those issues return then do let me know
i am an expert of my craft after all
[For all the suspiciousness of her post, she really was trying to help.]

i was cured when she made a potion using double the amount of ingredients it took to cure someone normally
so at the very least, it's no more dangerous to make than the original
i'll be sure to let you know, caster-san
i'm not very good at this sort of thing, so it's good to know that we have people here who can add their knowledge of potion-making from their own worlds to what we know here...
it makes me a little less worried about something like this happening again
no subject
at least that cure still despite the initial setback
but keep an eye on your health over the next few weeks just in case
some curses are a nuisance to shake
im glad i can offer some reassurance in that case
and i do hope that this situation resolves itself quickly
what can i call you
