Would you say you come from a generally peaceful world or a violent one?

A neutral thing, to be honest.

I wasn't terribly attached to being known as a 'Paleblood', haha. It served no real purpose for me.

[He hadn't bothered trying to "develop" any of the abilities a Paleblood supposedly had. It hadn't changed him. Hadn't made his hands any cleaner. Besides - his healing worked perfectly fine.]

That makes sense. Although, I've gotta ask: did it literally make your blood pale? Or was there another reason behind the term?

[ Reiner notes the pause, his curiosity piqued. Why the hesitation over "friend"? He can think of a dozen reasons ranging from betrayal, to loss, to nebulously defined sexual relationships. (He might be projecting there.) However, he doesn't push, not wanting to misstep when he has only text to gauge Hakkai's reaction. ]

Sounds like that would be dangerous to allies and nebulously useful against enemies.
