Hello again! I am Qifrey, a witch.

I've been curious. How do younger children or teenagers manage here? Is it easy for them to live? Are there programs to help them?

It's been weighing on me lately. Perhaps someone knows the answer to this?

I'm doing just fine, but I have magic and I'm pretty strong.

A bunch of other guys from home also came here so that helped.

Still, magic isn't everything.

Not really, but I like to think I'm doing okay.
I got a house on my own and I'm rooming with someone, so that's not too bad.

Speaking as someone who's "underage", I receive a very sufficient government funding, making it unnecessary to find a job or do quests, unless I wanted to.

You're also offered a foster family, but it's not required.

But surely money and a place to live are not the only things people need.

Of course they're not, but they're the basic needs someone would need to get other things they need.

Other things you need to figure out yourself. I was lucky enough to arrive with company.

From what I understand, there are multiple ways for those who are dependent on others to help them transition into a life here.

However I am not one of them. I am disciplined enough to maintain my own studies while balancing a small part-time job.

I wouldn't be setting a good example for my juniors if I had issues.

That being said, this isn't my home. I suppose adjusting as a whole could be considered a problem, but I'm confident in how I've adapted thus far.

That's actually a good question. I'm not a kid, so I don't know about services. But as an adult with no life skills, I've had luck finding plenty of help through the network.

So I hope there's something for kids too.

None. I'm on my own for the first time here. So I'm lucky there have been so many people to ask.

That's a very good question, now that I think of it.

Though I wasn't aware young children ended up in this world. Does it happen often?

I suppose it depends on one's definition of young.

Even for those as independent as teenagers, I find it a little startling.

Yes, that's true. For myself, my views are admittedly skewed, due to where I come from.

Thinking on it... Even if the housing is provided, those without life skills would still be in a difficult position. If they have never cooked or kept house before... to say nothing of how to earn enough to live on.

Which goes without saying, shouldn't be a concern of small children.

I manage just fine. In fact, it's so much easier here than having my useless brothers and overbearing Father around, and the Magical Manor has dorms I can stay in.

...Only problem so far's not having the servants around to cook and take care of the place for me.

Haha, I can imagine not having servants does make life much more difficult.

I've been worried about this exact thing. It doesn't help that there were some of the younger individuals wanting to help out with no prior training or battle experience of any kind.

Ah . . . I'm not sure battle training is the best idea for children either.
