[There was an off Pokémon blinking into the camera before it was helpfully pulled back up— and the Applin itself scooped up but a larger/taller Pokémon with that sly playful smile in a playful way.]
Hello everyone! Once again, for those who do and don't know me, I am Clavell. I hope you all are having a pleasant day, even with these surprises I assume many have been gifted.
I do, of course, mean those eggs left in a basket and hatching! As most know, I am from a world where these wonderful creatures known as Pokémon exist, and am very happy to help those with questions about their new friends.
[Up popped his Rotomphone with a wide smile before flipping around, displaying the Pokédex app for all to see--]
A friend and I created a phone app some several months ago that you all may freely download that is filled with information about all sort of Pokémon from various regions; which you can download here- [There would be an attached download file for those who wished to download said Pokédex phone app.
And that was a warm smile from the older man--]
So once again, if you have any questions or need some sort of help? Please do not hesitate to contact me, or anyone else you may know to have helpful knowledge of Pokémon. I shall be at the park in Blossomcrown should some be near as well.
Good day.

Then, it is good to speak to you again... Clavell, was it? Rider.
[It was sweet, how well Clavell's companions were getting along with one another- she hoped that her own would be able to do the same, once the younger one had gotten a bit older and more resilient.
At the compliment, she couldn't help a little smile come into her face, reaching up to lightly pet her Serperior- Who made a show of being put out by this despite 'secretly' leaning it's snout into her hand for more pets. Evidently, it had not grown out of all its haughty tendencies!]
Yours seem to be getting along well, too.
Raising this one and watching it grow has been rewarding... I hope I can do the same for the younger one. I do not know much about its nature just yet, it only hatched yesterday.
[Just giving the baby a little pet on the head with one finger, as gently as she could.
Certainly, for all this woman's calm stoicism, there was an almost maternal manner in how she tended to these creatures. Perhaps that was normal, for one who's children were not human to begin with.]

[Really, it was very good to see- and that it was clear that even with the sort of nature and personality that it was clear there was a fondness there from the pokémon as well. No doubt that the Serperior had their own way of showing that, as that particular pokémon tended to do.
Clavell chuckled softly, head tipping and- well. Applin certainly had a few pokémon there willing and more than happy to keep them entertained. Meowscarada having some clear carefulness even while bouncing the pokémon from paw to paw, a few Sinistea happily twirling around it as well.]
Most of them are very used to having young and fresh hatched pokémon around, given I see to having a hand in raising the starters new students to the Academy choose from. Which I am grateful for, it does ease the effort when they can be especially energetic at times.
Given your Serperior? You will do rather well, and Silicobra is a fine Ground type- they may do well if you allow them some warm sand to rest in. They tend to enjoy burrowing in sun warmed sand, after all, practically built for it after all.

They seem to vary greatly. It must take a long time to study all of their needs and natures.
Is there anything I need to keep in mind with raising one from an egg like this...?
[She took the time to listen to his advice on her new Silicobra, too. A ground type, hm? Rider could certainly understand the appeal of basking on nice warm sand- when she spoke next, it was more to her Pokémon than him directly; ]
...I shall have to take you to Solarpeak... I think you would like the sandy areas there, and it is nice and warm.

Quite the many years of my youth, but the travel was exciting until I was pinned down by a project with a group of my own classmates. There's always something new to discover, and all over the world.
They will need time to adjust, and will need to have a routine set to help with that. Might even enjoy a few toys meant to stand up to a little abuse just to help keep up mental stimulation and the dexterity of movement your young one can get up to. [Really, some could be like raising a strange toddler, but nevertheless it tended to be well worth it.]
Even something as simple as a ball on top of sand that they can come up from below and bounce around- or chase as it rolls along sand to grow used to borrowing.
