Being stuck without any magic when you've relied on magic for... almost twenty years kind of sucks, actually. [Anyone who was there would no doubt be able to guess he's referring to the mines, where all magic had been nullified almost immediately on entry.

The small, orange-haired Miqo'te panicking about it might have been missed, but he most assuredly did panic.]

Could someone spare some time to teach me how to fight without it? I know how to handle a sword... kind of, but it's part of one of the magic styles I know, so I'm not sure how much use that will be...

I don't want to be caught out like that again.

Personally? I've used a bat, hat, and lance in combat.

The ones that I've helped coach used swords and hand-to-hand combat, though, so I'm pretty confident in my skills.

Aye, just one of the skill sets I know. I also know how to use machinist weapons and red magic but that isn't what you're searching for I can assume. Given that you mentioned that you use a sword with magic and that describes it well.

I can help with hand to hand or guns. I'm okay with a sword but there are better people to learn that from.

Hmm... I've never handled a gun before.

It probably doesn't hurt to know a lot of types of weapons.

My gun has magic bullets so it works against monsters here that are weak to magic. It's easy enough to get the bullets, so like I said. Doesn't hurt to know how to use one.

I hardly said I was incapable. I have merely not often had call to be a teacher.

The last call to action took us into some mines, where all magical ability was blocked on entry... including magic we had before coming here.
