Hello! Some of you might remember me, but in case you don't - my name is Ren Jinguji. I returned during New Years and I'm resuming my work as an idol!

But that's not why I'm making this post, really. I want to propose a game! Something so we can get to know each other better.

It was a weird few months.

Wait, so they don't just take powers away from people, but they can take normal learned skills like knowing math?? What the fuck!

Kyriakos WAS a whole Situation, but the powers-that-be didn't exactly take our skills.

Long story short:
A bunch of extremely rude interdimensional horrors called Reapers were unmaking worlds and everything in them. A fragment of Kyriakos survived, and its queen and princess, who were themselves fragments, came up with a (truly well-intentioned but in practice not the best!) plan to save as many people as they could: they'd fish whatever was left of people's souls out of the void, and have those people participate in events to generate energy.

The winners regained a shard of their soul - a memory or a skill. And in the process of rebuilding themselves, their worlds were also rebuilt.

Cool cool, I'm sure that the events that I hear can be awful in themselves were definitely not made worse by the pressure of your entire world depending on your performance in them.

A decent amount of the events there were okay or even fun? But I know there's no way to explain or describe it that doesn't make it sound (at best) Not Ideal.

Being kidnapped isn't ideal but I really am glad people have been able to find things here they couldn't back home

(stating for the record (not directed at you, evangeline-chan!) that it's also very valid to be upset about being kidnapped. or to feel any other feeling, separately or together. there are many feelings to be had and many reasons to have them.

It's complicated. Even I have moments when I get unhappy about being separated from my parents, and Ellipsa is pretty much a straight upgrade over my world in every other way than that. Negative feelings are totally valid.
