If this adventure with chain mail has taught me anything, 'tis that many of us here are having our first exposure to the internet, with all its amusements and pitfalls included. Thus, I thought it might be nice to introduce another 'getting to know each other' game that some of us might not know yet. This one won't involve pictures or ratings of attractiveness, not to worry.

This game is called 'two truths and a lie'. The premise is simple. You list three statements about yourself, two true and one false. Ideally they should all be similar levels of unbelievable. Then, other people respond to you to guess which one is the lie. We all learn a little about each other and have a bit of fun.

Oh, I absolutely assume I'm dead meat if I ever go back. L Corp's not really known for being understanding of employees not showing up to work for extended periods of time.

[Guess he will leave the comfort of his starting apartment for now to go to the address. He's wrapping up this cigarette along the way, but if he arrives outside of the burger place first, he will hang around. A short older man with an insect arm isn't hard to not notice these days.]

[Evangeline is there first, and upon seeing someone with Clearly An Augment, her whole face lights up and she approaches him fearlessly.]

Hi! Gregor, right? It's been a while since I've seen augments like that.

[All the humans here look the same and it's boring??]

That's me. I guess you are familiar with these augments, huh?

[At least meeting someone with some sort of familiarity makes it less awkward. He wraps up his smoke before motions on to inside.]

It's nice to meet ya. Shall we go get some grub?

It's honestly more weird not seeing people with augments. [Chatting as she heads on in.] All the humans here look the same.

Guess you got a point. And hey, thanks for the meal.

[He follows along, occasionally feeling he's getting a couple stares, but that's not new.]

Who knows. Some folks could got augments that blend in well.

I guess, but those augments aren't as cool as yours, so...

[What is even the point if you're not going to give yourself a bug arm or wings or shit.]

Yeah! I like it! You're definitely my type as far as humans go.

[If one can hear the sounds of his mind, it might be like dial up connection noises and maybe one loud siren mixed in. 30 seconds later he managed to get some string of thought put together:]

I do have to say some stuff to you about Lobotomy Corp though. It might not be something you would like to hear, but... [He pauses to gather up his words as he picks out a corner seat for two over there.]

[Nothing will really surprise Evangeline about it at this point. If they've done something awful that she doesn't know about already, she probably won't even blink.]

Last time I checked, District L was Wingless. Lobotomy Corporation has fallen and been gone for a while now in my time.

[He's not too smart on the subject, but he's trying here-]

I say "my time" since we are obviously both from The City, but time could be different from when we got dragged into this place. Like it was still running and going before you showed up, right?

Oh, yeah, I had work the day before I got here.

Dunno the exact details, but something blew up with light and everything fell apart. All of the corporation and it's branches went into a burial protocol so the Abnormalities won't get out. There are ways to get in now since time passed, but it's still a huge risk.

[It's kind of shit to tell someone "hey your job will fall apart in the future and you might be dead", but after everything with Yuri and such... Maybe giving a heads up wouldn't be bad. Eva can have a chance to get out if she ever goes home.]

And that's where my job comes in. My company basically goes through the ruins of the branches to recover Enkephalin and other resources. So I know of Abnormalities, how to fight them, and how to use E.G.O if we get one.

Huh. Not sure what that would've been, maybe something at the main branch.

[There's always a chance something horrible will go wrong.]

I've got a couple of E.G.O suits here, but I don't think they'd fit you. ...plus I custom ordered a skirt for one of them.

Most likely. Everything always happens at the main branch these days.

[And honestly that is where a Wing falls apart.]

Eh, don't worry about it. I'll get my own back later and I can still fight with my arm and all. Usually, E.G.O. alters my arm on the fly during combat. I'll show you an example when I get one, yeah?

I'd love to see it! It's super cool even when you aren't showing off what it can do.

[None of her E.G.O. suits alter her anatomy significantly, what's up with that.]

Even so, it's not cool when it decides to lose control randomly and try to attack people. If that happens, please cut it off. It grows back anyways, but sometimes it can have a mind on it's own.
