I charge on a sliding scale of how much your wish is worth to you. So it can range from a small minor favor to you selling me your soul. But don't worry. I haven't bought anyone's souls here in Ellipsa. Yet.

That sliding scale sounds like the kind of danger that a slippery slope can be. Humans have been making media for decades about what the long-term effects of a deal with a fairy can be.

And yes they have but I'm a different kind of fairy. Unique in my station and I make sure the terms are agreed upon at the time of the signing, not after.
