[The screen focuses on a slim, pale man with light green hair and golden eyes. There is a white snake wrapped around his neck, peering at the camera with a similar intensity to the man himself as he ensures that he has set the thing up correctly.
When he realises that he has, his expression clears and settles into a mild, warm smile.]
Ah, there we are.
[His voice is soft, faintly lilted almost as if he's always on the edge of gently chastising someone, but he keeps it pleasant as he speaks.]
My name is Baizhu, a doctor, pharmacist and herbalist from the country of Liyue in Teyvat. I find myself brought into this curious situation with the rest of you, and thought it only polite to offer an introduction along with an offer of my services.
[He pauses, thinking for a moment.]
... Though the advancements of this world when compared to my own may render a good amount of my medical expertise entirely outdated, I believe that some here may still find more comfort in turning to it than relying on more unfamiliar methods.
[Another brief pause, the snake on his shoulders flicks out her tongue, and he smiles again.]
To that end, I would be curious to meet other individuals who have experience in the medical field. I can hardly miss the opportunity to develop my own studies further with the potential of knowledge from other worlds. Please feel free to contact me at your leisure if you're interested.

I'm actually "in training", but I've been studying to become a doctor myself for the last couple of years.

A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Well, it's more that I wouldn't be considered a 'professional' in any sense of the word. I will admit that a lot of my skills deal with a lot of first aid at the moment.

If you'd be interested that would be great! There are quite a few of us medical types around and having a place for all of us to work together is what the clinic is for. I think having a pharmacist would be amazing since I have a greenhouse with all types of magical and nonmagical herbs here. But let me know if you're interested and if you want to stop by to check the place out!

I'm quite accustomed to running my own business so I can't say how I would fare as an employee, but it would be my pleasure to look around if you're happy to have me.

If not an employee a consultant for the clinic is fine too. But we do have a greenhouse and are looking for pharmacists/herbalists like yourself. But if you want to think about that's fine too.

The Research Centre? Would that be a place open to anyone, or do you have the name of someone I might contact with my interest?

Hello. I’m not a doctor, but a witch, and I rely on the magical properties of plants and herbs quite a lot. I’ve been studying the flora and fauna of this world since I arrived [Which, admittedly, was not that long ago, but details, details.] but I’d love to see what someone from another world can infer from them as well.
I think we could both benefit from a chat.

[Though that does very much imply he is familiar with the term and all that it might imply. Witches - or the idea of them - are not unknown in Teyvat, after all...
Baizhu lets out a gentle little chuckle.]
I haven't had the opportunity yet to begin to familiarise myself with the local flora but I dare say it will be a priority in short order. I have no objections to collaboration.

My name is Duval, by the way. Whenever you're ready, feel free to call on me.

[Though... he does intend to change that.]
But I am not someone to sit on their laurels. I'm sure I'll find some way to utilise my skills here.

(That matters too.)
Good. I hope no one needs your skills too desperately.

But I am finding that the same can be said of myself. When it comes to being faced with such an abundance of new information, I certainly won't call myself an expert.

There's a library in Amberfall, and the Research Center in Nightwake, though I haven't been there myself.

[Interesting!]
And you are not the first to mention the Research Centre to me. Would you recommend it as a place of work, then?
