Following today the abandoned mansion near the airship station will be closed off to everyone.

The seasonal power holders have worked together to create a barrier. The reason for this is simple, there is something in there that is unlike anything we’ve seen before. My companion and I entered that building on May 29th with the goal of trying to ensure it could be used as a safe spot. Unfortunately, both of us died in that place.

I’ve attached a document with the knowledge we acquired from fighting it in case it sounds similar to anything you’ve encountered before. I also have a video that can be requested. Olwen has contacted researchers to start analysing what it may be, but any similarities may help.

I will not be answering personal questions on the matter. Please keep this informational.

{ he nods } Granted trust has a lot to do with it, someone with the ability to lie or even just evade answering would have a harder time with someone less trusting than someone who is. But if a person is willing to wait and work on this over time to build a relationship... it can be done long term as well.

If I'm honest, there are people back home that have that opinion of me. But in the end... all I do is to ensure Ayaka's safety and happiness. I don't really care what most of them think... but I do care what you think.

It was a while ago that you requested it, wasn't it? Apologies. Now may actually be one of the better times, we may be able to use the garden to start with, as you will need to practice swings at home as well. Though... I think we'll need to find wooden swords first.

[ They've been practising with their powers a lot recently--ever since the disaster in the desert with the scorpions. Knives was hurt protecting them because they couldn't fight, and even though they now have a Safety Pin to protect them, they want to be able to do more than sit and wait for someone to help.

They want to be able to protect people they care about, too. ]

They would. I use them in fights, and if you can create a great deal of water it will be helpful. However, our magical energy is limited. It would be best to be able to use a regular blade as well in case you get tired.

You shouldn't be reliant solely on one thing.

Hm, that is a good point... I will need to build my upper body strength. I have been carrying more of my groceries by myself and I can make it all the way home without getting tired. Do you think that is enough? Should I do something else? I have never tried to build strength before.

You'll need something where you can practice swinging your arms with something a little heavy to it. It takes more strength and stamina than keeping your arms steady.
