How do you get past hating yourself?

Not really.

I'm aware of that. I never thought this would be easy.

How much effort are you willing to put into this? You've gotten then attention of many.

Enough to at least get partially past my hate so I could focus on other things than just grieving something I can't change while I'm here.

If you're willing to share, what is the thing that you hate about yourself?

Decisions I made in the past. Trusting ideal I never should have and getting betrayed by them in the end.

Was it the kind of ideal that was flawed from the start? Or was it one that seemed a bit more obtainable?

Flawed from the start. Even if back then I wanted to believe there was at least a little bit of a possibility in the success of it.

It sounds the kind of ideal that idealist fall for. I wouldn't call that necessarily a bad thing, though.

I might be potentially guilty of a thing myself.

Could you tell me what kind of belief that you were holding onto?

That I could save everyone.

Truly a noble desire, but I see what you meant.

It's a tall order to expect of yourself or anyone.

It is. Hence why it's a ridiculous dream that I'm glad I no longer hold.
