Mini Event: Weekend of Misfires

Welcome to a Mini Event which is basically: network server has been damaged, so all network messages have a chance of going to the wrong recipient. It doesn't need to happen, but there's a high chance of misfires happening for the duration of the mini event.

This post can be used for sending out messages that can end up for anyone and everyone completely without meaning to. Feel free to also just send a blank message with your character and receive messages from others! Whatever works best for you and is most fun~!

This event will happen for the whole weekend, starting from now and ending on late Sunday night once they finally manage to fix the mistake.


Remember to put warnings up if you want to post anything NSFW-ish and especially link pictures; however if it evolves into "sexting", remember to move it to another post.

Talking stuff out is difficult for us these days. Sometimes it works, and it's good. Other times, we start screaming at each other. I'm really trying not to start a fight.

I don't suppose you have any advice on de-escalating conversations, do you?

I heard that having them take a deep breath or think happy thoughts counts. Or maybe just take a step back until everyone feels better to have a normal conversation?

At least, that's what my brother says.

And it makes it so obvious too! It's not my fault that he knows more than me while I'm still trying to catch up!

I understand that. It's tough when you feel like you're lagging behind, especially when you care what the other person thinks of you.

[ Reiner may be an only child, but he's all too familiar with that scenario. ]

But I bet there are things you do better than him. For one, you're a good listener. You're compassionate, too. I don't know how my phone ended up texting you, but here you are, helping out a total stranger.

It's only fair, right? That's what people are supposed to do, we're supposed to help each other out!

I'll admit, he isn't the most social person around. So I guess I can say I like being around people and that I do try. ...A lot.

In my experience, trying can make all the difference. People will admire and appreciate the effort you put in.

I hope so! Because getting an idol group started is a lot harder than it looks and that there is more work than people realize!

Oh. Sorry, it's the first time I've heard that term applied to music.

We have singers and choirs in my world. Operas, too, if you get really fancy. Is that basically the same thing?

Kind of? But operas are a little too fancy for me?

More like we sing in a group that has a different kind of music. More happy and upbeat? Songs that make you want to dance and put you in a better mood!
