Mini Event: Weekend of Misfires

"AAAAAHHH!! Oh no! Buttercup you can't just drop my coffee onto the server! Bad kitty! Bad! -- Ohh, Helene is going to be so pissed off once she hears... better start fixing this. Buttercup, this is the last time I bring you to work!"

"Mreow..."

"... you're right, it's not. But I'm still annoyed at you, you little cutie troublemaker."

Note: The above is not something anyone would be aware of, just a "how did this happen"

Welcome to a Mini Event which is basically: network server has been damaged, so all network messages have a chance of going to the wrong recipient. It doesn't need to happen, but there's a high chance of misfires happening for the duration of the mini event.

This post can be used for sending out messages that can end up for anyone and everyone completely without meaning to. Feel free to also just send a blank message with your character and receive messages from others! Whatever works best for you and is most fun~!

This event will happen for the whole weekend, starting from now and ending on late Sunday night once they finally manage to fix the mistake.

Remember to put warnings up if you want to post anything NSFW-ish and especially link pictures; however if it evolves into "sexting", remember to move it to another post.

[ Ruby will find out easily that Ayaka is a lot more confident when she is writing her words and not speaking them. In such a casual setting, and in person, she is a lot shyer and more reserved.

She laughs amiably, her cheeks turning a bit red. This is a lot of attention on her! ]

Ehe... what is it that you do, Miss Ruby? You are an idol, yes? Perhaps you have titles of your own you would like to share.

[Ah, yes, Ruby could tell Ayaka wasn't one to talk about herself. With a smile, she gave a giggle or two.]

Me? I'm the part of the idol group known as B Komachi! Back home, we're gaining popularity and we sing as much as we can for our fans! Anything to make them have a smile on their faces!

[Can she even hear the sparkles behind her words?]

[ Ayaka can most certainly hear the sparkles! And she's very happy for Ruby to be enjoying what she's doing. ]

It must be very fulfilling to perform in front of an audience.

[ She's never done that before in a public space, but singing a song once, and dancing for Cloud once were both very exhilarating. ]

What sort of songs do you sing?

Plenty! Here I can start singing one for you right now! This was one of the songs we sang on stage!

[Hope Ayaka is ready as she starts singing along to a certain song! And yet, the look on her face seemed as if she wanted her to join along!]

[ Oh! That's a very upbeat song, and Ruby is really into it!! O_O She's seen idols perform during the arts festival, but a performance that is impromptu is even more captivating.

Ayaka does not sing along, however, but she's certainly clapping her hands when Ruby is done. ]

Bravo! [ That was such a very cute performance. ] I imagine it is even more impressive when you are on stage!

And just wait until you see it with my two other friends, we're amazing together! If only they were here and we can sing it for everyone!

No, I'm afraid not. It seems that they are either in their own group or would not perform. Is it really that difficult to start an idol group here?

Then... what about performing solo?

[ At least all the attention will be yours, she thinks. ]

[There was a long silence on her end. At first, she wanted to say something but didn't know what to say.]

[There was a moment or two as she wondered what to say. While she didn't have to hid her secret here compared to back home, it still made her a little nervous. Instead, she shook her head.]

I-I could but I don't think I can hog the spotlight! That wouldn't nice, would it?

I'm afraid I don't quite understand.

[ You can't hog the spotlight when you're a solo performer to begin with? ]

Do you not like performing alone?

I guess you can say that! I'm just not used to singing alone so the thought of me being myself is a little strange!

Can Ayaka hear the nervous chuckle behind her words?]

[ They're close to the shop now! It's not a lingerie shop, bless them, but a cute shop that sells all kinds of cute dresses! ]

Yes, I do frequent this shop often as it has nice dresses. It think they are very cute and suit my tastes.

[She said before looking through the various dresses that this store has. Giggling to herself, she stared at a couple before looking back at Ayaka.]

Let's see...which one would you choose? I think you have a better eye for fashion than I do!

I imagine some white and blue hues would look nicely on you.

[ Ruby is blonde! She's just imagining a more upbeat Lumine. ]

[Well, those aren't colors she thought would match her. That's why she raised an eyebrow or two.]

That's kind of strange, I heard that I should be wearing a lot of pink or purple.

[And you know. Those were the colors her mother wore too.]

[ ... Maybe she should stop giving her opinions. ]

Oh no, it's not that! I just never heard that I should be wearing those colors before!

[And with that, off she goes to grab the nearest dress that has white and blue on it!]

[ She asks not to pressure her, but to ask her plans. She doesn't want Ruby to just go with her idea because she feels she needs to! ]

Yes, of course! I'm sure that I'll wear it whenever I perform in front of people!

[See that smile on her face? She was definitely trying to cheer her up! Looking at the dressing room and then back at her, she raised an eyebrow.]
