(It's night and Padmé is on the beach, walking, barefoot, through the surf. Her dress is more like a robe, brushing against the sand with each step and her abundant hair is down, curling gently. She pauses, her toes dipping into the water just...barely.)
I can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes, I think of him; I think of all the ways I can fix what's been done. Having my hands tied here, even with the special powers, feels like a test.
I'm not as patient as I thought I was.
