I've heard some talk of calendars being created before the new year. Lately I've been trying to practice my photography, so I figured I might offer my services in case anyone is interested. I'm still very new to it. We didn't have cameras where I grew up, so I figure this could be a great way to practice.

I'd be happy to help. I don't have much experiencing photographing others at all (mostly landscapes), but the more subjects the better, I figure.

Coming into this, I realized that a lot of these calendars would probably have similar themes, so I really don't mind at all. [Even if he might blush a bit.]

Parts of my world had cameras, but nothing like they have here. As for myself, I grew up in a secluded area.

We have many artists here, but you are one of the few who chose photography.

However, if I may inquire, what is your preferred subject? Are you the sort to photograph charming little flowers, or are you interested in examining the beauty of everyday life?

Hello there.

To answer your question, this is a very new hobby for me, but so far, I've really enjoyed taking landscape photos - mostly the ocean. I'm very fond of it.

I have taken a couple of shots around the city as well. I won't lie to you - taking photos of the segments is tempting, but I know they aren't to be trifled with. Call it a daydream, I guess.

"Examining the beauty of every day life" - I think that's a really good way to put it, actually. There's so much that can encompass.

A daydream that will someday come true, that is, if we find a way to tame that portion of the realm.

[That's assuming it can be tamed.]

For the time being, I guess praising the beauty of everyday life is a sufficient subject. I recommend visiting the neighborhood parks and pubs surrounding town.

You never know what you'll come upon out there.

I don't plan on creating a calendar myself, no. As of right now, I'm really only interested in being behind the camera.

I haven't taken many photos aside from landscapes, so my biggest interest right now is getting some subjects to work with; hence my offer. :)
